Totally random question but this OT and these things never stay on topic, my 4 year old is learning the Piano my wife is really good, has been playing since about the same age, but when she’s not around I literally have no idea how to help her. You know of a good way to learn the basics so I can help her?

when I taught myself basic piano I played through these chords in sequence and it completely opened up the keyboard for me..all western music is pretty much contained in this circle that's not microtonal like bends or Indian classical scales...I keep the chart on my keyboard and play through them often just to keep up what few piano skills I have from collecting dust

My guess is money...and a war chest for the next election of juicy ammo. They didn't want an impeachment trial for a guy who will probably be gone in a year and change..they want to fight the battle on their terms.
