"Giving Bob Dylan a Nobel for literature for being the best musical writer is like giving Mount Everest a medal for being the highest mountain...." Leonard Cohen-

I mean, who doesn't love Dylan.

This is one of those epic and sad story-telling songs.

Susan Tedeschi does an admiral cover. Austin is on my bucket list.

Love Bob Dylan's singing.

My favorites were "Gonna have to serve somebody" (great cover by the Tommy Castro band) and "All along the watchtower" (cover by Mr. Hendrix)

Seen this guy many, many times...never gets old

I hear ya. This is probably one of my most favorite recordings of him. We're looking forward to seeing him live again at the Ryman in October. At around the 11:20 mark, the B3 intro into the lead guitar riff is a favorite part of the song. I WANT A B3 ORGAN!!

I realise I'm probably late to the party, but I've been listening to The Hu lately. They combine metal with traditional Mongolian musical instruments, and throat singing.

Metallica cover

I stumbled onto these guys awhile back and now they are on my regular playlist. They’ll be at the Jack London Revue in April and I’ve already got my tickets (though it will be a late night for this old man……).

Been diggin' on some JJ Grey & Mofro recently. Ran across this vid from the Portland WBF.

Kings of Leon is coming to Nashville next week (Ascend Amphitheater). Have any of you seen them in concert? Was it good?

My first vehicle (purchased from my father) was a 1960 VW Bug. Man, I LOVED blaring this song from the kick butt 8-track system in that baby!!

My father traded in his 36 hp '60 VW bug for a 42 hp '61 VW bug which he then traded in for a 42 hp '61 VW van.

These guys showed up on one of my Spotify stations and caught my ears. Anyone of you seen a "concert" @ the Bing Lounge?
