And this one has an assist from Nicolette Larson whom I had a huge crush on...still can't believe she's gone...when I first heard the news I became physically sick...yes, I actually puked.

Here's another one from Vince Gill...damn, I wish I could sing like this guy. I remember reading an article 20-30 years ago about a poll taken and asked that day's male singers "If you could have anyone else's voice other than your ow, who would it be?"...almost every one of them pick the same 2 voices...Marty Robbins or Roy Orbison. Vince Gill should be in there too. This song was sung and written by Timothy B Schmidt of the Eagles, but I think Vince does it even better.

Don Henley wanted to raise money to save Thoreau's Walden Pond from developers who wanted to put up a bunch of houses on the site...Henley said "no hell you ain't". So he got a bunch of Country Western stars to do their renditions of the Eagles most popular songs and all the proceeds from the album sales went to essentially saved Walden Pond from the greedy developers...and he won. GREAT album from front to back.

I bought a turntable about a month ago. It has really enhanced my listening experience. Planning on getting some vinyl later today.

Very depressing that Michael was exploited in such a cheap way after his death, with his first posthumous album having a goofy impersonator on 3 tracks. He actually had some great stuff in the vault though.
