The Budos Band!!
Been really digging them. Great music for the background while cleaning house or playing board games with friends.

This reminds me a bit of King Sunny Ade's Nigerian High Life music or "juju" music...it's really good. I had a couple of his records on cassette back in the day...great soundtrack for a good day!

Not a lot of Christian music fans in here, I know--but give this song a chance. It's a banger.

Bruce Cockburn started out as a Christian musician on his first few albums which are brilliant but he strayed from that label after a few albums....his live album Circles in the stream has somee really beautiful Christian themed songs on it. Highly recommend it. Bob Dylan made a Christian record as well.

No doubt there's a lot of beautiful religious music out there--Christian and otherwise. That song, however, is definitely not aiming for beautiful, or reverent, or solemn, or any of the other adjectives typically associated with Christian music, which is part of what makes it awesome.

I think if you listen to Circles in the Stream you'll find it also isn't stereotypical Christian genre music but is pretty timeless....the guy in the video you posted sounds like Adam Levine vocally
