This was Merle's last song. He sung this while he was out of the hospital recovering from pneumonia at home. He never recovered though, and died at his home at the age of 79.

Not a bad voice for a guy on his death bed.

Here's him in better times.

Man, that voice...

He had a great voice...Silver Wings is probably my favorite by Merle

I just watched this concert and this guy is timeless

My favorite Stooges song..... I destroyed two sets of car stereo speakers playing Fun House. For me, they are the greatest American rock band ever.

They were the original rock poet band of the generation...I'm just amazed at how well he's held up with the career he's had..dude is still rocking with conviction

Truck drag racing in French Canada, to the tune of "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.

How do you say "perfect" in French?

I'm a big anime fan, and "Jormungand" is one of my all-time favorite Animes. I have both seasons saved on my hard drive.

Here's some animated music videos (AMV) of the series:

And my personal favorite of them all:

EDIT, I forgot about one...

I've read the "Gunslinger Girl" manga series (it was the first manga series I ever read, in fact), and it was incredibly well done. VERY sad series, with excellent character development and story line.

The animes weren't nearly as good, and in fact only went through two "seasons", which only covered maybe a one-fifth of the actual story line.

Nevertheless....here's an AMV with Eminem and Lil Wayne with "Drop The World"; one of my favorite songs:

Two of the most addictive songs I've ever heard.

The first song is "Redline Day" from the anime movie "Redline". Some interesting facts about Redline: it took 7 years to make, required over 100,000 hand-drawn frames, and the movie went through 2 producers before it was finished. It was released several years late (2009/2010).

It's an amazing anime movie, which is both dubbed and subbed (depending on your preferences), and I strongly recommend anyone watch it who likes stunning artwork in motion.

And I freaking LOVE that song.

The second one is a remix of several songs, which is based on the main theme song for the anime "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions". It's a very sad, hilariously funny anime.

The songs are as follows, mixed into one: "INSIDE IDENTITY" by Black Raison d'être (main theme song for the anime), "Swimming Pools (Drank)" by Kendrick Lamar, "Rotary Park" by Nujabes ft. Nao Tokui, and "Make My" by The Roots ft. Big K.R.I.T. & Dice Raw

Don't ask me what the lyrics are. I have no clue what they're saying, sorry. :biglaugh:

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

[video=youtube;h0RQnGhxZzg]

They're not very subtle about missing the late-60s/early-70s love-in, but the music is good, IMO. Their live aesthetic is...interesting. ;)

I'm from the era and damn proud of it. If only I could have bitch slaped the idiot stoners and made a profit.

Some might know this song as the origin of the iconic sample from Pete Rock and CL Smooth's hit T.R.O.Y (They Reminisce Over You)

Others just know it as a great song.

Hadn't seen the video till recently. I got the premise immediately. Freddie Mercury does a duet with Wendy O. Williams. That's fucking genius!
