You should check out Brendan Benson, who is in the Raconteurs. In '02 his band played a show at my friends house just off of N Mississippi. Apparently back in the day he told Jack White that there was no market for his music (blues guitar w/ simple drums)...apparently he got that one wrong. Here's some older work (that's all I have)
