Ya know Im as big of a tool fan as you will find, first show ever, seen them 6 times, APC, Pusifer and all that. I hear they have a new album in the works and I hope so because I could use some fresh Tool. I hope they bring it back to Opiate or Undertow, I love that rawness, they seem to be going the other way though which is alright and more Led Zeppelinish.

Caught Primus on their way through town in early Jan for the Chocolate Factory tour. Great show, I love the psychedelic imagination of Les Claypool. In terms of artists he ranks up there with any all time legend you can come up with. The best part of the show was the opening band though, because it was Primus also, they opened did all their greatest hits in a garage band style, then set up of for the Wonka show afterwards.

Just because Im on a Primus kick right now, here is one of my favorite Les Claypool side projects with the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade. They were a funked out Pink Floyd cover band, sort of.

Speaking of legends. Faith no More is coming to town in April, and I got my tix! Never seen Mike Patton before and Im very excited. I had two tickets for Tomahawk once and lost them on the way to the show.......... I accidentally put them in the apartment mail box slot with my moms mothersday card I was mailing on my way to the show, had both things in the same hand like a dumb ass. Not one of my brighter moments.

I was really into Fugazi. Remember them? I loved that band. Also TSOL was a big time fav when I was a skater

Yeah I heard that they were making a new album too. I did some puscifier and perfect circle, but it just wasn't the same for me. Although, there was a puscifier song with Mia mijovich that was awesome!

I know the song you are talking about. Pusifer for me is real hit and miss, some of it is great and other not so much. I really like APC though, first two albums were fantastic, and the Diary of a Madman sang to the Cure's I Will Always Love You tune was one of my favorites. That was originally done for Trent Rezonor's Tapeworm project that never took off.

Trent Reznor is my "all-time" favorite artist on this planet. I call him a production genius!
Im a big fan also. I can only imagine what a Maynard and Reznor project would sound like. Doenst sound like they were happy with it though. More info on it if your interested here.

Edit: adding this because of the reference in the article and by the way I was at this show! Same song as the link above but different show, it was what I was looking for earlier.

Atmosphere is a great hip hop artist for those who haven't heard of him

The main ingredient is one of the best hip hop albums of all time. The beat for this song is dope.

I love it when rappers drop basketball references. I should start making a list of songs that contain them.

"I rebound like Oakley when you provoke me"

I think this remake mishmash is sorta meh, but the original Ozzie Diary is great, probably his best solo song -
