I am a big Zags fans a well. I think Olynyk is closer to Bargs then Dirk but that is fine for a late lottery pick. It just isn't fine to be Bargs at a top 3 pick.
Kids has the fundamentals. That is a great start.
How apropos. Like the guy who denies any facts about Batum.
Using your standards Batum is worse this year compared to last year.
His PER is lower and so far he's posted the lowest ORtg of his career.
Raw data, yo
He's been playing injured a good portion of the year.
The rebounding knock is unfounded. He has a Rebound Rate of 14.9
Which is better than Zeller, slightly below Noel.
He averages about 10 rebounds per 40 minutes of play.
Not elite in the post against good athletes? More unfounded Bullshit.
Might as well say you don't like him because he's white and has funky hair. That would have more of a foundation then the rest of your logic in this thread.
1) I'm not big on Zeller, and Zeller is higher than 10 anyway. Easily worse than every other "top" big guy.
2) Not even the leader on his own team...that would be Elias Harris.
3) Correct. He struggles in the post against elite athletes, and he gets his shot blocked at a high rate due to his lack of athleticism. You can feel free to look into the stats, you know how to use google. I've done it before.
4) Ever read the scouting report of your team? Apparently not, since the first thing in Kelly's points out his horrific D, his array of pump fakes, up and unders, etc. Says to stay on your feet, as he relies on his fakes to get his shot off.
Do your research next time. Nice playing with you. You can get off his dick anytime.
I've watched every minute of Gonzaga basketball for the last several years. I don't need any kind of scouting report from a guy who caught a game to tell me anything.
You have probably logged 20 minutes or so watching the Zags and live off those 'scouting reports'.
But, thanks for telling me to do my research. I love when the uneducated posters act like pro's on a topic and get lippy.
I have actually watched every Gonzaga home game over the last 3 years and and a majority of the away games in the same span. Try again. Glad you think you're so smart.
It would appear I am more educated than you in this discussion. And the scouting report I referenced was the actual words of a compilation of "pro" scouts. You know, who do this for a living, and I'm the uneducated one?
Tell me how Kelly's ass tastes buddy, you should know, you're so far up it.
What's next, you going to say how he is some defensive juggernaut?
I'm calling Bullshit corndog.
Why just their home games? Do you not have access to their road games? lolz
Ever hear of a "student"?
Of course not, because your mental capacity is rather minimal, from which I can ascertain from this conversation.
You don't go to Gonzaga. You don't gotta lie to kick it.
Once again, you're wrong. Talk about being uneducated.
FWIW, I actually do go there.
Riiiiight. If you did go there you wouldn't be hating on Olynyk.
He doesn't have to love every Gonzaga player just because he goes to Gonzaga. Did you go to Gonzaga?
Zags is not currently affiliated with any college. He might rep the PCC Panthers though, not sure.
Riiiiight. If you did go there you wouldn't be hating on Olynyk.
I didn't like Qyntel Woods, Travis Outlaw, Luke Babbitt, Brandon Roy...
Because I have to love every player on every team I watch, right?
Side note: Just because I go there, doesn't make me a huge 'fan' of their team. Like my name says, I'm an Oregon and Nebraska fan. I chose Gonzaga for reasons that are unrelated to sports and honestly are not relevant to this conversation. I do watch/attend games because that is the "social" thing to do, you know, hang out with some other students, watch a game, have fun.
I'm sure you've loved every player over your lifetime, right?
I didn't like Qyntel Woods, Travis Outlaw, Luke Babbitt, Brandon Roy, Greg Oden, Ruben Patterson - to name a few, but that doesn't mean I don't recognize their skill in basketball.
