My dude Olynyk as a 17 year old:

Olynyk is 2nd in the entire NCAA in PER, he's the best player on a top 10 team and some of his best games were against top competition. At this point, there's no way he's not an All American.
 
Draft Express just posted a nice video breakdown of him. Be prepared to hear this kid is not perfect Zags.

Not a big deal if he is an All American either. Nolan Smith was player of.the year.
 
Starting at the 1:28 mark of that video you can't tell me those moves aren't Dirk-esque for a legit 7 footer.

I see really nice footwork and handles for a 7 footer. Hard to compare anyone (legitimately) to someone as good as Dirk but this kid could very well be fringe All-Star in time.
 
He has no lift. His 'explosion' is very Marc Gasol-esque.

Love his game though.
 
Unfortunately in those video's there has to be a weakness portion. A few of those are a stretch. He's a above average rebounder and more explosive athletically than given credit for.

Not sure you'll find a perfect prospect.
 
That video heavily enforced my belief that he won't be very good in the NBA.

He is not an explosive athlete at all. I don't know what you're seeing there. He better hope his reach is in the 9'2" range or he's going to get blocked a lot. He has NO lift.

You've called Olynyk "explosive" and an "above average athlete" -- couldn't be further from reality. But I do like him as a prospect. Like Z-Bo, he looks crafty.

dirk has those same exact weaknesses right? i mean hes not dirk with motumbos defense, but nobody ever said he was
 
They just said there's atleast 10 NBA scouts at the game tonight.

A lot will depend on what kind of run he has in March. But, yes, I don't think theres any way he doesn't go in the lottery at least. I think he'll go top 10. Take the Zags to the FF and he's a top 3 pick.
 
i think you read me wrong, im saying dirk has the same weaknesses from that video

their games do look similar for sure, good and bad

True. He just has to work on his off balance, off the wrong foot, heavily defended step back jumper, all while looking like he got shot through a cannon. Ala Dirk Digg.
