Thanks for pointing out the flaw in the naming of points/FGA, which does not just include FG, but also FT. As you noted, TS% is a better measure, and Meyers was 1st among Blazers for TS% with 61.6% for the Playoffs (and 67.5% for the season).in this case what you're not understanding is the value of FT's
a player can go 3/4 on 2 pt FG's scoring 6 points; and go 10/10 on FT's. That would give him 16 points and 4 points/FGA
and it's why eFG% is a pretty meaningless stat compared to TS%. eFG doesn't account for FT's...that's kind of a ueless gauge
