I feel bad for him, and I don't want to downplay what he went through, but I am not sure he was on the "hard end of the disease" if he did not have to go to the hospital. Did he even have respiratory issues.? He did not mention any. His symptoms sound like the vast majority of cases, mine included.......no hospital, and no ventilator needed. (7-10 days of hell and another 10 days of lingering issues)

"I am able to explode now,” Little said. “And I’m getting my wind back again.”

They should be cautious with him for sure but I bet he will be ready to play in another month.

I was thinking 10 days to 2 weeks. The Blazers start a huge Home Stand on the 14th. 7 games here. I would think Little should be looking for that stretch of games?

Yeah I bet he could be ready by then, but if they don't need him they might as well give him extra time. Don't have him overexert.

Gotta happen IMO. Collins is out for a while. Give Giles some run. Even 10 a game at this point. Start getting his in there.

Yeah, I know there will be some growing pains, but I like his energy, passing, and handles for his position. He reminded me a little of Plumlee when he brought the ball up the court in the last game....with more range on his jumper and a longer wing span. (7'3")

Nassir said he came into this season at 228, and during the worst part of his battle with COVID is at 210.

He's probably not going to be ready for a few weeks, and shouldn't play at all this year.

Sigh. Ignominiously merged into the blandly titled thread.

The article said he’s not going to rush back, but that he’s had an MRI and a battery of heart tests to rule out any major damage. I’m going to guess he’s back sometime in February.

I was hospitalized here in central Mexico for eleven days and have been home now for two weeks. My wife, myself and our youngest daughter (age 9) all tested positive on December 4th. My wife had a fever and aches and pains for three-four days and then lost her taste and smell. It’s now back at around 85%. Our daughter had fevers but children’s Tylenol kept it in check and she’s 95%. I developed very low blood oxygen levels, high blood pressure and Covid lesions on my lungs. The aches and headache were horrific and to this day I cannot breathe! My blood oxygen levels are low so I’m on oxygen 24/7 and the doctor told me yesterday to anticipate 6-8 more weeks to recover. And I’m needing to rehab my lungs so they work again. This has been very very hard. The clinic I was in left us with a bill of $17,000. for the eleven days and now I had to purchase an oxygen generator. My oldest daughter set up a Go Fund Me account and I’m just overwhelmed. Family, friends and business associates have donated almost $18,000. of our $32,000. goal. The prayers and support has been so amazing that I will definitely get myself better! I will work hard during my rehab and best this.

PS: I lost over 25 pounds over two weeks. Being back home and getting good food is helping. Feeling pretty good outside of the serious breathing issues. And at 6,200 feet elevation here in San Miguel de Allende, it was hard to breathe before I got Covid :)

Sorry it hit you so hard. They are just now realizing how many people have the "long" covid. I hope your recovery continues positively.

My mom’s family is from the city of Guanajuato and I spent a few years there as a kid. Love San Miguel de Allende. Sorry to hear about your health but glad you’re feeling better!
