now im not saying nate should get as many mins as francis or lee, but def more then collins, imo collins one of the worst players at his position, he can barely hit rim on his free throws, barely make a shot, im sitll wounder why he isn't in the d league. but I digress, I believe the art of providing a spark for a team is being underrated here, as a knick fan, I appreciate nate providing some sort of spark for the team because in majority of games, the ones we win and lose, the knicks are down late and make comebacks through sparks started by most of the time role players like nate, lee, and crawford, and yes nate is not as talented or skilled as the other two, but hes just as valuable because he contributes the best way he can which is providing a spark, his "never quit" attitude rubs off on his teammates when hes in the game, makes them more determined to make the comeback, the knicks are well known to do this season, and idk why people look at him like a cancer, before the brawl in new york and detroit, the nba used to have fights like that all the time, but I dont see anyone calling barkley a pussy, or camby a punk, but everyone gives nate an unfair rap because he didnt swing at melo, who had 2 teammates beside him at the time, and deem him the cancer of the knicks, when he won the dunk contest last year, I don't remember cries for him to be removed then, or when he hit the game winner against philly, was that a bad shot, or everytime he draws a charge hes doing that for himself right. I doubt anyone who's dissing nate has been to or watched a knicks game, or have opinions besides the ones they read or watch on espn or other sports sources, or people who never watch games at all and just keep track of fantasy stats. or think that greg oden is going to be the next big thing just like how sam bowie, kwame brown, and darko were supposed to be
