I go back to the inaugural season and if you’d told me we would never host an ASG especially after the 77 ship, for 40 plus years I would’ve thought that insane!
I believe its a damn shame!

And this city thinks they can support MLB?

Not enough rich people hotels

Don’t get mad but I would put Penny Hardaway or TMac before Dame

I absolutely loved Penny when he came into the league. Was my favorite player, which was tough growing up in Chicago. But he had like 3 peak seasons. There's no way he makes a top 75 over Lillard. Injuries took away what could have been something better, but there's nothing at all in their careers to justify Penny over Lillard

Curry hits all game except in the end. He did that last year also. Dame had to get the big shots.

LeBron better enjoy it because it's back to losing after tonight

Curry +1000 to win mvp has to be one of my better wins recently. Just wish I put more than $5 on it lol

i know it's stupid and corny but i really like how they did the top 75 thing at halftime. i'm a sucker for the history of the game.

also ironic to hear dame announcement come right before clyde's

I might be the only fan boy of major sports that has never given a rip about all star games. When there’s no competition factor I couldn’t care less about sports.

Maybe it’s because I’ve always been an ultra competitive person myself.

The most appealing thing All Star related to me is the HR Derby. Even that over the years has been more dull.

So, he made 16 threes and probably 1 layup. I know people are enamored with the three ball and find it transcending basketball, but it just reminds me of watching a pickup game at 24 Hour Fitness. No denying the guy has superb touch and it's a 200 million dollar skill, but I lose attention pretty quickly when the game is reduced to playing between the three lines. A big reason I've found the Blazers boring for the last 4-5 years, and why the current version is a breath of fresh air.

I'm with you. At least the MLB All-star game has some home field advantage in the playoffs built into it.
