Apparently, Oswego Grill.
I wonder if they took him to Caramico's?
They should have taken him to MB's favorite pizzeria, Bellagios.
I would be ecstatic if we drafted Faried.
We are definitely in agreement with the needs that we have, and should fill this offseason. But if we are not very active this draft and stick at #21 and Faried is still there, I will be more than happy if we take him.Not sure "ecstatic" is the word I would use.....maybe ho-hum instead?
McMillan compares him to a Reggie Evans type of player, which is not overly appealing to me...
POR needs some scorers, players who can creat 1v1 and a backup PG more than they need a b\u PF, and there are a fair amount of intriguing options for a b\u PF in free agency...Carl Landry & Kris Humphries are 2 that come to mind.....Freeland would be another possibility...
Rather see POR go for a PG or a scorer....
Wouldn't mind seeing them acquire a 2nd 1st rounder to get a big man, maybe a center like Benson or Tyler. Vucevic looks like a big stiff to me...
I think Faried would excel with an active point guard. He's the guy that will outwork others to get near the basket. It'd be an effective rebounding lineup. But with a limited offensive game, Faried on the floor doesn't help LMA at all to avoid double teams.

Well, I don't think he should be starting, but if he is, preferably Wallace gets moved for a shooter/play maker.Agreed. But that is also Matthews, Wallace, and then him. It doesn't help out LMA all that much on offense, and really, it puts even more pressure on Miller, as if he is off, it's LMA or nothing. Or, you're asking guys to do something they sdhouldn't necessarily be, creating for themselves, which they aren't that great at. Obviously with a big gap in talent, but it's the same issue we had with Roy and LMA, and then surrounding them with guys like Blake, Outlaw, Webster, Joel, Batum. You double the main play maker(Andre, Roy), and you're left with 3 guys on the court that aren't great at creating for themselves in a half court set. And we get bogged down. We've seen it for the last 4 years or so.
I know it's partly a coaching issue, but it's a fit/talent issue as well. Can't have that many players dependent on one guy to get them shots. It's easier to stop.
Givony on his most recent podcast was really high on Montiejunas.

He was supposed to be the top pick of this draft, but has dropped because of some stagnation in his development this year. Givony said his effort isn't always there. But if he drops to us, I'd take him over Faried because he's more skilled.
#21 -- Portland Trail Blazers
Kenneth Faried
Position: PF
Height: 6-8
Weight: 225
Age: 21
School: Morehead State
Analysis: The Blazers fell in love with Faried last year before he withdrew from the draft. If they are fortunate enough to get a second chance at him this year, they'll grab him.
His relentlessness on the boards is a nice complement to LaMarcus Aldridge's more offensive-minded style. Markieff Morris, Tobias Harris, Darius Morris, Reggie Jackson and Nikola Vucevic are other players to watch.
