Don't worry. They can always watch baseball or soccer if they want to see something better.
Half of that statement is true, but not all the time.

Basketball is still the best sport.

If there are any Cavs fans out there desperately searching for a glimmer of hope: the 2005 finals.
Where's the glimmer of hope? The Spurs went up 2-0 and won the series. A real glimmer of hope would be the 2006 NBA Finals. Dallas went up 2-0 and then had a 13 point lead with just a few minutes left in Game 3 but Wade led them back and Miami ended up winning 4 straight to win the title.

Golden state is just a better team there deeper and just more athletic. Lebron actually looks old I never seen him get his shot block as often then has the last two games. Love is not even in the series mentally and physically and Kyrie he just hurt the team by not getting them in the offense.

Once you isolate yourself from Green/Bogut nonsense and bandwagon fans from everywhere who were bound to pop up once they got successful, Warriors are not really that terrible. To be faid I find it hard to be interested about these finals, I am completely neutral here which takes away any excitement.

It's weird Warriors are finding it so easy when they've been properly challenged in two series by Blazers and Thunder already. Maybe it's lack of competition which did it for Cavaliers.

Last thought: who do the Cavs get to elbow in the head with no repercussions now that the games go to Cleveland? Here's hoping it's Green.

There should not be any consequences for contact that is not illegal. Incidental contact is not a foul.

I wonder if the Cavs will want to get out of Kevin Love's contract.

I never saw Lebron as an all time great. He does have a great looking stat line, but something is missing. He's just not at the level of Jordan/Magic/Bird...

It's like Lebron is an athletic freak who has been able to just overpower everyone, but as you said, it seems like there is something missing with him basketball wise.

Yes he missing players as like of wade bosh and Allen all great IQ of the game. Now he has love and Kyrie that not on the same level of players as those 4. Plus Lebron has not look the same the first 2 games he look step slow matter there whole team has look slow.

Still can't believe there were people out there who would take Kyrie over Dame. At this point, I would prolly take not only Dame, but also CJ over Kyrie. At least CJ competes and looks like he cares out there. Kyrie just looks scared of the moment. There was a moment in the fourth quarter yesterday when I expected GM Lebron to trade Kyrie before the end of the game.

Love is so poorly used in the system. He's not a good fit with Lebron and that's unfortunate for him. As a Love hater (hah) in the past, I should be enjoying his uselessness but this is just pitiful. That guy is so talented and he's been made into a below average role player. Get him the hell out of CLE.

It's funny how much of that happens with Golden State. So, if they all put on blindfolds and just flailed about (which isn't far from what Green does anyway) no fouls would be committed?

I agree that this is how it looks. But it's funny how he was doing so well recently against other teams. Maybe we should give GS's defense some credit for making him look so useless?

Well, the glimmer of hope is that they won't be COMPLETELY HUMILIATED, not that they'll win. But notice that the Pistons actually came very close to winning (86-85?) after being totally destroyed in the first two games.

Love is really not that talented. He has an above average jump shot, average athleticism, an average post game, he rebounds well, his handle is poor, his passing is good for his position (although overrated by many because he makes a nice outlet pass every other game), and he has some of the worst defense at his position. He gets blocked frequently when he post up. He was shooting just over 20% at the rim earlier these playoffs. He's very similar to Ryan Anderson.

People can hate on Lamarcus if they want, but love is not on his level.

I think Kyrie is a worse fit with LeBron than Love is. Love is a pretty good stretch 4 on offense and a average defender at best. Lebron being a physical SF and good ball handler, allows Love to drift. Sure his numbers are down compared to when he was in Minnesota but I htink that has more to do with him being on a better team.

On the other hand most PGs will be hampered playing next to LBJ because Lebron likes to be the facilitator. But I agree Dame is better.

Can't help but fell like Love in our system would be an absolute boss.

Just tough to hide him defensively, especially with both Dame and CJ where they are on that end.

Warriors fans at work are kvetching that they aren't getting enough foul calls.

Oi vey.

I think LeBron is awesome. But Jordan, Magic, and Bird all played in incredible offenses that moved the ball very well. LeBron's team's don't..... and that is on him.

The refs are about to step in and make this a series again.

I think we will see an attempt by the Cavs to make game three very physical. How much they get away with will determine if they win or lose. I could not believe when I heard the announcers say in game two that Lue wanted the Cavs to push it more. I think this is a mistake. I think they should ugly it up.

How much better would CLE look right now with Wiggins instead of Love?

Didn't get to watch Game 2 . . . was at Mamma Mia (not proud of that; really stupid show btw) last night. WTF happened?

This whole post-season is unfolding in the worst possible way for me. If this keeps up, I might have to move out of the Bay Area b/c smug, entitled GSW "fans" are going to kick it up several notches with another title. Woe is me.

Spot on. It's tough to say where Kyrie ranks on the current list of PG eliteness, because LeBron is so difficult to play alongside as a ball handling PG. Dame would be a pretty good fit there, because he's equally comfortable playing off the ball.

I still think Kyrie would look like one of the best if he were in a better situation, like say, Minnesota. Maybe they can trade him and Love for Wiggins? :)

I'm still in awe of how bad a talent judge GM LeBron and many posters here are. How was it not obvious to everyone at the time how bad a fit Kyrie and Love would be alongside him?
