Went with Tony Allen, I think its a smart pick at this point. He can be the top backup if everything goes well, if not, he can still give you 7 to 10 good minutes every night.

lukewarm selects Wilson Chandler and D.J Augustin via an incredibly confusing PM.

Heh. I was just trying to work out all the permutations, albeit after 5 hours sleep and in a rush.

I guess my reserves will be a bit on the small side- either Chandler or Gallinari at the 4 and DJ at the 1.

Seriously, I was at Universal Studios all day and I thought my picks in both drafts would be passed and thats why I went on a frantic PMing frenzy...

Thanks for making me look like an ass!

Marko might be a better fit starting alongside AI. Hrmms.

Or Hughes. Nothing wrong with having two combo guards instead of a "true" point guard. The Lakers were in the finals without a point guard.

Maxiel was a 5th rounder, ace. ctrl+F on the front selection page to see if your player's been picked.

Wow! They should call him Jason MaxSTEAL!

I can't believe people took guys like Jason Collins and Marcus Williams when Jason Maxiell was still on the board.

Some people just make this look easy I guess.

I think Williams will thrive in Nellie's system. Nellie has a long history of turning guards into superstars.

Did Nash get better?

Tim Hardaway, Latrelle Sprewell, Chris Mullen, Sarunas Marciulionis, Mitch Richmond, and Monta Ellis went from nowhere to stars in the league under Nellie.

Yes, Nash got better after he left Nellie

Tim Hardaway, Latrelle Sprewell, Chris Mullen, Sarunas Marciulionis, Mitch Richmond, and Monta Ellis went from nowhere to stars in the league under Nellie.

Mullin was the #7 pick in 1985 and averaged 20.2 PPG before Nellie took over the Warriors.

Hardaway was the #14 pick in 1989. Nellie was his first coach. Hardaway made more All NBA teams when he played for Miami than he did with Golden State

Richmond was the #5 pick in 1988. Nellie was also his first coach.

Sprewell was a 24th pick, Marciulionis was a 6th round pick (127th overall) and everyone knows about Monta.

Half of your list doesn't apply because they were drafted high and contributed right away. Plus, only Hardaway and Monta can be considered PGs.

Sarunas Jasikevicius went from one of the top European guards in Europe to a contributing guard in Indiana to a nobody in Golden State (under Nellie). Then, he went back to Europe.

Jasikevicius wasn't an NBA player. Nellie had nothing to do with it.

This draft has died, I would like for it to finish by Sunday cause I won't be home at all next week

This draft has picked up alot and usually with a few exceptions, the picks have been going quickly. We all knew this was going to take a long time and if you weren't prepared for that you shouldn't have signed up for it. Just PM a huge friggin list to someone for next week.

Denny Crane took Marcus Williams guys
