I think that's pretty obvious but as critical as I've been of Cronin, I just don't see him giving the Pistons the seventh pick for him. I could definitely see us trading back to the Spurs at 9 and 25, then sending 25 and the Bucks 2025 first rounder to Detroit for Grant. We could then draft Sochan or Eason or whoever we have highest on our board that falls to us at 9.

You think the Spurs will do that trade I mean it's the Spurs.
 
No player in the draft was going to be an impact player....in his first year. By year 2, things can change.
Murray could still be in play but time to start watching tape on players like Jeremy Sochan.
 
We need to keep this pick and draft Keegan Murray, Mathurin, Sharpe or Duren. Unless we have a BlazerKor style trade where we can trade down get someone like Duren at 9 and also Grant.

Griffin was one of the best shooter in NCAA this year on a team that went to Final Four. Martell was an empty gym workout legend. I will not stand for the Griffin slander.

Yeah, I don't think they'll want three rookies with guaranteed contracts. So they get to move up and take someone they like and not risk him getting grabbed up in those to picks and have one less rookie to deal with. If they didn't have three picks, I couldn't see them doing it.

Getting the 10th pick would mean we failed miserably. This just means we failed lol. The 7th pick we still can get a game changer.
