That what happens when you shoot 50+ 3pointers. Don’t get to the line.Damn 27 to 6 free throw advantage for the Lakers. The NBA wants Lebron to get another one.
Nah... did you watch the game? The Warriors were allergic to the paint and the Lakers were addicted to it. It was not a one sided game called by the refs. If anything they let the Warriors get away with some stuff due to the constant contact that the Lakers were getting and the lack of drives from the Warriors.Damn 27 to 6 free throw advantage for the Lakers. They had 30 attempts last game.
Yeah and it doesn’t even show how a bunch of those shots were Nurk-soft floater type shots because they refused to challenge AD at the rim, at all.for those wondering about the FT discrepancy, do the shot charts shed any light?

You know what's sad, I was enjoying this fantastic NBA playoff game and said to my self that somebody on here was going to have the nerve to complain about the FT discrepancy....but not mention the horrible shot selection by the team who did't get a many FTs. You live and die by the outside shot. SIGHDamn 29 to 6 free throw advantage for the Lakers. The NBA wants Lebron to get another one.
Not bad for a league down spiraling. Can't wait for game two.
I get that. If I saw the boxscore and not the actual action, I'd probably have the same reaction. The Warriors just decided to settle for jumpers because AD was so dominant around the hoop and the Lakers chose going to the hoop. The box score or maybe the shot chart will corroborate that account of the game.No. Just saw the boxscore.
Man, I don't know. One game doesn't mean shit. I didn't look at the boxscore, but Klay sure didn't look good tonight. On the other hand, AD can't keep that pace up. I think I said LA in 6 above. Total guess on my part. The game every other day format is going to take a toll on the Lakers for sure.I think I have to feel good about my bet. Patiently waiting now. Do you still like the Lakers chances in this particular serie I guess
I think it will take just as big of a toll on Steph, Klay and Dray. Besides LeBron and AD who are admittedly a huge part of the Lakers, everyone else should be good to go 48 minutes every other night if necessary.Man, I don't know. One game doesn't mean shit. When you have said you will not watch the games because of the teams involved and then decide to make a statement from simply reading a box score this kind of thing happens. You know what's sad, I was enjoying this fantastic NBA playoff game and said to my self that somebody on here was going to have the nerve to complain about the FT discrepancy....but not mention the horrible shot selection by the team who did't get a many FTs. Or the league has a conspiracy against the WARRIORS like this guy is claiming.
It’s wild. They were flat awful with Westbrook. They trade him and they go from no play in to a near favorite to win it all. What a game! The Lakers give up a huge lead but in the end they steal the first game and HCA away from the Warriors. I think both of these teams are a serious problem for anyone they face.
Edit: I honestly think the Lakers might be the first seven seed in league history to win a title.
I have a Laker T-shirt I can send you to wear for tomorrow nights game? Let me know FAMS!Historically the Lakers can suck it. But, my recency bias has me basically rooting for the Warriors to lose every series that they play. I hate that I'm wanting the Lakers to beat Golden State, but that is the case. Once the Warriors are out of the playoffs, my focus will shift towards the Lakers losing. Haha.
In the meantime I will just watch a great series of basketball and be entertained.
See I'm not sure. They are such great shooters from outside, I think they can turn it around. LA is tough in the paint, so they BETTER start hitting.wow...GS shot 53 three pointers at 39% and lost. FOUL descrepency big time. The Lakers know if they take the ball inside aggressivly the warriors will foul. They have those active slapping/hacking hands and the refs were on it.
If the warriors rely strictly on 3 pointers they are toast in this series.
