Time to temporarily move the Blazers to some Dakota state. Get Nurk back into playing shape!

This is such a bad idea. Not fair to teams that can't open practice facility. Plus, I still think it's too soon to send a message to the world that everything is back to normal. Let's stay shutdown and end this thing as opposed to opening up and then having to close down again.

Players are looking to fly to Georgia to use public gyms there.

Thay doesn't make any sense... other states should allow teams to do whatever they want. If they have players isolated there is little risk. NBA teams are going to take the necessary precautions.

Our CPA tax accountant is considered an "essential" business.... if some players need to work out states can allow it.

So stupid. Not nearly enough testing has been done to do this

It’s just for individual workouts. No group play. Assuming it’s held responsibly, I’m not sure there’s any big risk in that.

As much as I love to watch basketball, football and movies. Joe Duffy the Local burger flipper is more important getting back to work then anyone in the sports, entertainment industry. You could probably add the news industry too. As good as this news is I want to see America back to work before 1 athlete/entertainer sets foot on a court/studio. I have only 1 fuck to give and it dam sure aint for some asshole who is behind on his Ferrari payments because he cant manage his money. BTW I had to refinance my truck just so we could eat while I was getting over the virus. I get to go back to work tomorrow so yeah I am happy that CPA's and bankers are "essential workers" just like me.

Italian prime minister just announced group training for Serie A will be allowed starting May 18th (individual May 4,) with restaurants, bars, etc (essentially the country) opening fully on June 1.

Unless something unexpected turns, and factoring in training camps, I’d be surprised if major sport leagues weren’t back by July.

What about those who are NOT athletes, but whose only way to take care of his family is totally reliant to the world of sports and if they are playing. That's ALOT of people.

How does an NBA athlete working out alone at a practice facility prevent any needed other industry from working?

Not a fan of Disney, but I do put a lot of stock in their announcement - Mulan will be actually-released July 24. Disney thinks people will be back in theaters then.

As far as the Blazers go, Kate Brown has said that things will be "opened up" on a county-by-county basis. So, those of us in Eastern Oregon (where we have few cases) will likely be opened up much sooner than the tri-county area. I honestly don't know if this means that the Blazers will come out here to practice.

Woj said it’s been pushed back a week, the hawks don’t want to do it
