I think Portland is unique in that we are one sports city (no offense intended towards the timbers), but when I've traveled around and listened to sports radio I have heard quite a bit of oh why isn't this guy playing more type of stuff. Maybe it's not as much in those other places I don't know. I just know that in my experience I've heard similar stuff from other fan bases.

Interesting, maybe we are more extreme than other sports towns in the value we place on guys, I should clarify that my experience leads me to believe were similar to other places, but I suppose experience may vary!
