NBA warns Dame & his agent to stop asking for trade to just one team

Plenty of room to think your massively dismissing Scoot and Sharpe upside; while still believing the Blazers have done a shit job managing this franchise for many years.

It almost seems like your trying to discount Scoot Sharpe to prove the incompetency of the Blazers.

That's just not needed. Blazers have made many terrible decisions lately and have terrible ownership regardless of how great Scoot and Sharpe are.

Even if both Scoot and Sharpe become stars, it doesn't mean the Blazers are going to contend or anything. It does probably give evidence that the decision to build around those two and not sell the farm for a doomed to fail attempt of trying to contend with Lillard when it's far too late would've been a colossal mistake though.
Hopefully anyway?

I really hope the league blocks any trade with Miami for Dame now...we can get a lot more for him from hungrier franchises. Hell Cuban might trade Luka for Dame..stranger things have happened...I sure didn't see Kawhi going to Toronto after demanding to go to LA first....Cuban swings for the fences. He gave Wes Mathews fresh off an Achilles 80 million or so...This is going to be an interesting summer leading into training camp. Tyler Herro is the odd man out..I can't imagine him wanting to stay in Miami now

Perhaps you're just very bad at evaluating talent. Nobody's perfect.
Perhaps Not. Very few are as close to perfection as me but you are correct nobody is perfect.

Partially agreed. A 33 year old that did that for the Blazers the last two years made for a very boring team to root for.

If it's a 19 and 20 year old that have potential for many more improvements - I'll be much more optimistic.
Yes young talented players just scratching the surface of what they could become even as the team struggles to win games is intriguing/exciting to us Bball junkies, but whats also exciting is how this team is now staged to add more talent for the next era of Trailblazer hoops. Neil had managed them into a corner where they were capped out and financially committed to a roster that had no chance of contending. Boring isn't the word I'd use... I'd go with hopeless. If the young guys show real promise and they continue to draft well, hopefully Joe will be clearing the books as he'll have a window to add significant Free Agents to complete the mix. Free Agents generally want to get paid and go to a situation where they have a shot at championships. Managed correctly, Portland can become a desirable destination.

Less than 6 weeks til training camp. What's the latest on Dame trade?

I think the first homegame will be the test when Mark Mason calls out the starting lineup

"ANNNND AT GUARD.... WEA..."

*Puts his hand over the microphone*

"This fucker is still here and I gotta act excited? No."

*Takes his hand off the top of the microphone*

"He's got the lowest number before it turns into a negative. Damian Lillard."

*Packs up his shit and walks out*

I think Jeremi Grant gets the final announcement of the starting 5 by Mark.

Nah, isn't almost always SF/PF/C/SG/PG no matter what?

It my be PF/SF. But I could be wrong about the whole damn thing cause I'm talking out of my ass on a hunch.

Recently On NBA Today:

Wojnarowki says that the Blazers and maybe even Lillard are prepared for the possibility of the veteran remaining with the team in training camp and even into the regular season. The Blazers could look to reevaluate the situation after the first 20-25 games of the season and see how they’re performing, in addition to determining at that point whether the landscape of interested teams has changed, Wojnarowski said.

it would be so funny if he had a 180 in his demands.
