Z' is seriously one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet--he's made last second accommodations to sold out shows for me on numerous occasions (in Portland, Seattle, Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas, LA, SF, etc.). A couple of time before I even got to know him, he went totally out of his way to make sure I got in to some of his shows that were sold-out. Now whenever he comes to town (or near it) he'll ask me if I need tickets for me or any of my friends to get into the show. Seriously, who does that shit? The guy is all types of kick-ass and his musical taste is absolutely impeccable.
