Yah connaghton is playing basketball. At least that's how olshey made it sound

They said his baseball money was in the 400k range during the draft

96 mile an hour fastball.....I hope his nick name was "wild thing".

I agree on Hibbert.

RH: 10.6 PPG | 7.1 RPG | 1.6 BPG | 15 PER
RL: 9.6 PPG | 6.7 RPG | 1.4 BPG | 16.2 PER

His value is low and a lateral move from RoLo - including a prospect like Vonleh is insulting.

Agree - not huge on Hibbert, I'd probably take Tyson Chandler over him...

Then go after Middleton or Harris..
Actually Chandler is the better option. He's better than Hibbert and could probably be had for $10M. you could keep Hendo and cut Kaman.
Hendo+Chandler=$16M
Hibbert=$15M
you'd be in the same position cap wise and have one less spot to fill.

Middleton will get matched, but I'm not sure about Harris. Im not too high on him

Why not?!?!

While we are at it, let's steal Green from Spurs and fuck up Lakers by offering a toxic offer for Boogie that King use to rape the Lakers to give too much for boogie. Fuck every team that assumed they could get Aldridge from us for nothing.

Honestly, I think Plumlee might be another piece we could use to get Cousins.

Plumlee, Vonleh, CJ, and a future 1st rivals the offer of Randle, Clarkson + filler IMO.
Gives Kings youth, depth, and cap space.

Middleton will & should get matched, I'm not even sure he'll sign an offer sheet to be honest.

Why don't you like Tobias?

Tobias is a blackhole and a classic SF/PF tweener.

He wants the max.

I'd rather use the cap for a lopsided trade.

My wishlist (assuming Aldridge comes back)...
1. Jimmy Butler
2. Draymond Green- play him at SF
3. Wes for 10 or less/year
4. Demarre Carroll
5. Wes for 12 or less/year
6. Deandre Jordan
7. Danny Green
8. Roy Hibbert

If Aldridge leaves...
1. Draymond Green - play him at PF
2. Jimmy Butler
3. Kevin Love
4. Deandre Jordan
5. Danny Green
6. Wes for 10 or less/year
7. Demarre Carroll
8. Roy Hibbert
9. Tobias Harris
10. Wes for 12 or less/year

For realistic trades...
1. Cousins
2. Ellis

Wow.

So enjoying my night.

You all are nerds.

Blazers shat the bed.

Goodnight.

Edit: Olshey will clean this up, I do believe. And Stotts.... When we realize it's not a rebuild, but it again becomes a re-tool, you are gone. But I appreciate your work.

Thanks for the intellectual dialogue and thoughtful analysis. Nighty night.

We all of a sudden have quite a few young prospects with a lot of potential that we might be able to use in a trade fofr a 3rd star or develop for ourselves. I'm pretty fucking happy

I honestly think that something big is coming tomorrow. Someone said that you have 2 days to trade a player after trading for him. Makes the timing of the Batum trade curious. The day before the draft to acquire a young project like Vonleh and a solid vet like Hendo + trading for a young piece like Plumlee, leaving a one day window after draft day to turn all these young assets into an all star. It might end up as nothing happening but I think Olshey will make a push for someone tomorrow, hopefully Cousins

Huh? Two days to trade a player you just acquired?

And id forget cousins. Doesn't fit the culture neil is trying to build.

Glad you appreciated. Was starting up some haiku then was interrupted by a work call. Long story short, RHJ was the right pick. Disappointed in the deal. I'm not hating, but WTF? What more can I say?

Hibbert just opted in and is on the trading block....

RHJ is horrible offensively. His defensive impact would be negated by teams overplaying Dame and CJ with RHJ's defender and a center waiting in the paint. Instead we got a legit upgrade over Rolo who's only being paid $1.5M and a steal at 41.

Plumlee as an upgrade over RoLo makes me rollover.... with laughter.

Saying RHJ is "horrible offensively" tells me all I need to know about your basketball "knowledge".

How is Plumlee not better than Rolo??? He's better in the pick n roll, a better finisher, runs the court, and is a better rebounder. He's a 15 and 10 guy per 36, and he's a solid defender. With how good Aldridge makes the center next to him look, I think if LA comes back Plumlee could at least be 15 and 10 if starting.

And what is RHJ good at offensively? Driving the lane? There's no lane to drive when his sag on you because you can't shoot. He's not a playmaker, he's an ok ball handler, and he can't shoot a lick.

Basically, I take your opinion of basketball and RHJ and say.... Everything you say about RHJ is how I feel about your bball knowledge, FAMS.

Nuff said.
