"Amy Schwartz is an up and coming sports broadcast journalist. She is currently taking college classes while serving as a Blazers and Timbers correspondent for John Canzano, head sportswriter for The Oregonian and host of The Bald Faced Truth on 750 The Game."

Enough said.

"wheels are in motion."

Wait, Wheels is leaving? Say it ain't so.

LOL!

Did you get her number or something while you were sitting next to her on the condition that you would promote her tweets on this site?

Nope, she actually got a little defensive with me when I asked more about her claim that two players told her LMA was leaving. It was an odd conversation because I never asked for her sources. (No comment on why I didn't ask.)

Wow. Everyone should take the 15 minutes to listen to Neil Olshey. He sounds like he knows what he's doing. There are contingency plans for each player we may lose to free agency. He's excited about the draft. He mentioned trades could go down (Goodbye, Batum?) and he said he's happy with Stotts as coach. This is going to be very interesting the next 8-10 weeks.

In Olshey we trust

In Olshey we trust

I'm old enough, and stupid enough, to remember posting, "In Bob we trust" about Whitsitt. But, yeah, I agree when it comes to Olshey. I like the way he operates and I think he has a really nice combination of smarts and car salesman. And I mean that last part in a good way. ;)

I will say that there is a lil bit too much happiness and 'excitement' for a team that was just tossed out of the first round. Especially a team that was figured to go further than what they did.

Olshey still has yet to prove anything folks. I don't know if I trust him or not.

Okay let's see... We were one of the worst in the league when he came in. No bench, terrible coach, the allstar ready to bolt.

Brings in a good coach, had a 4 year plan to get to contention. We were a bit ahead last season but we are definitely on schedule.

Have faith brother... Don't forget the rubble he started from

Were going to find out just how good he is...
