<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Henacy:</div><div class="quote_post">The Nets rarely had sell outs during the regular season, when they were championship contenders over the past 3 seasons. Most fans waited to the playoffs start to packing the building. So it should be expected that fan/attendance drop off is going to be even more, now that they arent championship contenders.
Plus the Arena is in the middle of nowhere. And extremely hard for people outside of Jersey to get access too. Me personally I havent seen a Nets game in person since 97-98, I went to a couple games that year, mainly to see Sammy. But other than that I love the Nets but living in the Bronx, its difficult to get access. I have hop on the train head down to grand central station. And then hop on the train to take me to Jersey. And nobody(as in my boys etc) wants to drive across the bridge & pay the $4.00 to cross the bridge + gas prices. So just catch the game at crib on the tube.</div>
Yeah, I know what you mean. My mom and I took the turnpike to Jersey for a game there. The parking was horrible, the arena was gross and our seats were awful. Bah.
