<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobimel:</div><div class="quote_post">This may be a huge blow, but don't be so excited about us not making the playoffs.
Chicago: DOWN(they're gonna lose either Chandler or Curry, and may have lost Duhon to Toronto)
The east may have improved but not by a lot, and the facts are, in the teams that threaten a playoff spot most to us, haven't improved.</div>
I agree with you that the Nets will still make the playoffs, but there's no chance the Bulls will lose either Chanlder or Curry, they are both staying in Chi-town for the long haul.
I also with agree with everyone else that it's terrible for Shareef, he was taking a pay cut to be with the Nets, now he's going to make less money for another team. I hope our good bud in NY Thomas engineers some sort of sign and trade for SAR, that would teach the Nets, but in an article I read the Knicks aren't in the midst of things. He'll probably sign with the Spurs or something. This is good news for Philly though, who know I think is the better team and can take the Atlantic.
Bottom line is Nets are still solid, but you can't put them among the ranks of Detroit, Indiana, and Miami without SAR, Marc Jackson just does not cut it..
