Oh my....god. I can't believe this. We just lost to the worst team in the league, despite having a 15 point-lead. To me it's just hard to take in. We just lost to the......Timberwolves.

I was afraid that winning this game by one-two points would give Thorn opportunity to say "We right there. Things will get better". Now it is official: <u>we are the worst team in the NBA</u>

In other news.

Al Jefferson just helped my fantasy team take over the #1 spot in a paid league, I could win $250 if I stay there.
 
I only watched this game because I figured it would be exciting to watch a good team face a crappy team.

I just realized which one we are..
 
I had my friend over and we made an otherwise terribly boring and depressing game entertaining. He kept calling Al Jefferson "Kevin Garnett" because, "let's face it, he thinks he's the shit. And he's on the Wolves" . He called Brewer "instigator" because he looked like he wanted to start a fight early on. "oh man, he's ready! he's going to **** someone up! refs are giving him all the calls because he's going to threaten them if they don't! "

And the funniest thing about it: the ****ing wolf howls everytime the Nets go to the foul lines. What's up with that!? hilarious.

I got to say I'm quite surprized we lost... When I made the post it was like 95-88 for the Nets with like 1:20 remaining. I thought we had finally finished this silly streak.

I bet if things went a little differently, and McCants or Gomes missed one of those 3s, and Nets won. Everyone would be like, yea well we are in 8th place, and with 3 allstar calibre players, and 2 rising young big men, the Nets are better than other teams with records similar than them, ie. Indiana, Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Chicago.

I wouldn't be surprized if this team put together a 8 game win streak soon, and be 5th place in no time. Amazing how one basket can change a person's mind on the outlook of the team. In the East, if the Nets play the way they have been they can still get 7th or 8th place no prob. If they start playing a little better than 5th or 6th is easily within reach.

Depends on who you talk to. If the Net would have won they would have beaten the worse team in the NBA. A win is a win but the point is they could only beat a young team.

Also we will be right back where we are right now come March when the Nets play the Hornets, Mavs, Rockets, Spurs (back2back), Grizz, Cavs.

This Nets has shown they could and can lose to anyone. Even if the Nets get the 7 or 8 place that's just means an ass whooping from the Pistons or Celtics.
