New OKC logo suspiciously simlar to the Nets logo

How unoriginal can a team get? It looks pretty unimaginative and scattershot. You have a clean slate and this is all they could come up with?

well, truth be told, I can see us changing our logo in a year or two anyway. we've had ours for over a decade already (yikes, has it been that long? )
would love to see us wear the ABA ones alot this season, as well as throwing on some retros from the early 90's. I liked when Golden State would wear various retro jersesys. I hope to see more teams do that this season, including us.

With the Thunder icon, they made the logo, and then just put the name above it. Weak.

Hopefully their uniforms will look a bit better than this logo. It's 1 month till the training camp and you'd think they would've unveiled them by now.

Well the website says they will eventually upgrade the logo quote" “The
wordmark and shield, although a proud historic landmark for the team, should be viewed as an initial
primary logo as we work towards additional graphic development of our team identity." That is the dumbest thing I ever heard. ONE- Their already selling team apparel with this logo on it! So this is great for fans that shell out the cash for a 25.00 T-shirt just to see the logo get changed in 6 months. SECOND-Why do you make a logo, that you know your going to change sometime soon down the road. Why not put forth more effort to make sure the logo is perfect. It wasn't like they NEEDED to put out the logo yesterday. They simply could have revealed the name (that most of us already knew) and worked longer on the logo.

Not that its a surprise but it seems owners will do anything just to make a quick buck. Seattle should be glad this ownership left when they did. That fan base deserves a lot better.

I'm usually for simple logos but this is waay to simple and the text is well...they should work on that...The logo and even the name would be more suitable for the NBDL. I feel bad for Durant.

Thunder is actually the name of the Warriors mascot. The Warriors logo includes Thunder through the middle of the W.
