Sometimes I really hate you….

Seriously, google the make and model of your TV and recording using the USB port. I promise you some nerd has already figured out how and what you need to buy.

I had a TCL that could record to a usb drive but apparently I have to get a portable hard drive to record on my Sony.

Buy this. You'll be able to DVR and watch it delayed.

*Edit* You won't need this unless you want to watch the games before 60 minute after the post game show. You can just buy the streaming package.
Bro I don’t want any of your swap- meet electronics in my house!

I swear if I Google this and it’s some porn site in Thailand, I’m coming to get you!

So I finally found it. You can’t see the Blazer games on DirecTV and Dish until January 1st and they will be on Univision. Hmm

So if I have YouTubetv I need an antenna?

like bunny ears? For my 90 inch Tv?

Sorry, I’m awful with technology/electronics
Im also on YTTV and have a channel called charge. I just had to go in and add it to the live guide via the YouTube tv app on my phone. For some reason rearranging your guide isn’t a thing on YouTube tv app on at least my Apple TV

edit. It’s a channel called charge. So I’m hoping it’s the same one. I had to do the same thing for fox12+ and CW as well.

Buh Bye Comcast!

For those who want to go down a rabbit hole, check out HDhomerun. https://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun/

It's a device that you plug your antenna into, then connect it into your home network Ethernet port. The antenna doesn't have to be next to your TV and can be put in a location with better reception.

They have 2 - 4 tuners models, refurbished starts at 89.99. You could pay a fee (35.00/year) for their DVR. You will need to add storage. This is done by buying external hard drive, HDhomerun DVR with built in storage or their storage add-on. Alternatively, you could run their DVR software on a computer record there. They have apps, they aren't the best. If you don't have a computer, then this is a decent option.

If you have a computer to use, then 3rd party DVR options are much better. I'll start off with the most popular ones, Plex, Channels and Emby. They have a lot of features and should be easy for the family to get used to. They have installs for NAS and raspberry pi as well.

https://www.plex.tv/ Monthly - $4.99 Yearly- $39.99 Lifetime - $119.99

https://getchannels.com/ Monthly - $8 Yearly - $80

https://emby.media/ Monthly - $4.99 Yearly- $54 Lifetime - $119.99

If you want to try something free then Jellfin, MythTV or Mediaportal. They are "free", but you still might want to pay for a guide data source to help make scheduling easier. They will be more involved setting up and don't always have apps available

I've used a HDHR for about six years. Outside of some user error and software hiccups, it's been pretty good. Even my 70+ year old mom uses it daily

NBA leaguepass is $110/season. I got Surfshark VPN last year for about $2/month. This is what I did last year.

I can watch all non-national TV games for all teams, with ability to start late, pause, rewind, forward because it's saved. And games are archived and can watch full replay or variety of condensed version formats. Bunch of other NBA-related content plus NBA TV included.

What is the advantage of Blazervision over this?

No VPN needed

Not fraudulently breaking the law

Pair of Blazer tickets

Some other Blazer content

There is a "Charge!" channel available on yttv, and I suspect it is the same thing.

Any idea if Fubo will be getting the games? I don’t see KATU, but I do get news from Utah for some reason.

This is great news, just in time for an unwatchable season of tanking.

That would actually be an interesting local sports streaming model, charging based on how good the product is. Donald Sterling might have been motivated to actually try.

Interesting...... It also shows the Portland OTA will switch from 2.2 to 16.1 on Jan1.
Saw that. Just frustrating it looks like satellite customers can’t see Blazer games til Jan 1st. Curious if this is correct. My family wants to watch games too. Where is the BeerBoy guy, he seems to know everything.

I'm sure someone in the Mrs. HCP line will have a streaming service on a device they'd be willing to share while they're waiting their turn...

Satellite customers can watch Blazer games if they buy a $20 antenna! I'll hook it up for your wife next time I'm over taking her to pound town.

Are they still going to carry Blazer games on the root channel. I am so confused
