Personally if I didn't have a subscription to Fubo/Cable that already had KATU 2.2 I'd just buy Blazervision. Convenient that you can watch at home or away from the house, any tablet/etc type of device, and dont need to deal with recording or such. Blazers only have the 1 national game on TNT Jan28 when Dame comes to PDX.

Now if your on a very tight budget get an antenna and sure just watch for free. But $120 for the whole year is about $1 per game. Worth the convenance.

Agreed. I cast the first game from my phone to the tv and the quality was great. Curious how the OTA will look in comparison.

I agree 100%

Well then this is a fucking joke.
It's only because it's a new contract and only until January, waiting for the Univision contract to expire. Once that happens this will no longer be a problem.

Until then, there are pirate streams that you can watch online. There are even replay streams that you can watch after.

*Edit* The part that is bullshit IMO is that there is a monthly option available. $19.99 per month. However that's not available until November 1st.

I honestly think they should just give it away for free until November 1st. What a great way to sell people on your quality service. Of course, you would think every single preseason game would be there as well.

But whatever.

I wonder if the Blazer channel will be broadcast on youtubetv? I assumed games on charge! would be, and I was wrong.

Not until January, unfortunately. At least, that's my understanding.

I know the channel flips over in January, but do we know for certain the games will be streamed?

I mean *actually*?

I believe the games that aren't on Charge! should be. I've already watched at least one game on YouTube TV.

But you're right, it's confusing.

Let me know how it looks. That game had nothing to do with BlazerVision since it was the Clippers broadcast.

How did you already watch a game on YouTubeTV? Do you know what channel it was?

So the Fubo "charge" channel will be available in all WA and Oregon? even Deschutes County which so far has no access to OTA?

Does the Fubo Charge channel show the Blazer games? Because the YoutubeTV Charge channel does not.

On a related note, I know the Kracken games are on 8.2, are those games broadcast on youtubetv?

Has anyone tried signing up for NBA League Pass using VPN pointed to another country to save $$?

For example, when on VPN set to the Philippines, League Pass is about 3499 philippine pesos or 60 usd and the premium is 4499 php or just under 80 usd.

What I wanna know is, if you subscribe to NBA league pass using the method above, do you ALWAYS need to be connected to VPN to watch the games?

Reason why I ask is VPN slows the internet.

I thought the credit or bank card you use to sign up has to match the county you are using.

STREAM THE BLAZERS AT HOME OR ON THE GO
Get streaming access to home and away Blazers games live or on-demand for just $120. Plus, you receive a FREE gift of 2 tickets to 1 of 5 select Blazers games in the 2024-25 regular season!

What are the 5 games? Is there a link? I assume I get to choose which game, yeah? Are these 300 level tickets or what?

Im in the couve, last year I subscribed to NBA LP and used Surfshark VPN, this allowed to me to watch all non- national TV games for all teams.

I understand the games will be available OTA on Charge 2.2. I have that channel but can someone let me know what I need if I want to record OTA TV because I can't always catch the game live.

Thank you in advance.

You certainly would have to use a VPN every time to watch games. Also, the NBA and streaming sites block a lot of the big VPNs IP's so you'd have to find a little used IP from that country. As Sly said you likely need a Philippines or whatever currency account to pay. Yes as you say it'll slow down your internet. If you try to do something like this your basically violating the terms of your subscription with NBA league pass. Maybe you can trick their systems to do it, maybe it only works for a time then stops working. I guess I don't see whats any better about that than just trying to get illegal streams.

Id rather just spend the $1 per game to watch the team in a legit manner. Or if your in a broadcast area just buy a Tablo type device you pay for and setup once and then its free to watch on your device any time and anywhere.

In your situation I would either subscribe to Blazervision or buy Tablo type of device to record OTA and stream whenever/wherever you want.

Thank you for your response esp for mentioning Tablo, I will look into it. Sounds like what I'm looking for

Can anyone tell me how or where to find out how to watch the games in Central Oregon? We don't get the Portland KATU channel.

I don't believe there is a Central Oregon option and your only choice is to subscribe to BlazerVision.

Welp guess that frees up a lot of nights for me. If central Oregon doesn’t matter to the blazers, but Seattle and Yakima do, just goes to show how much they don’t really care about their fans.. No reason to watch them I guess.

It has nothing to do with the Blazers not caring about Central Oregon. They had to work with a local broadcaster that was interested in carrying the Blazers and had multiple stations in the state of Oregon. The only one that meets that is Sinclair.

Personally, Sinclair kinda sucks. You should be happy that you don't have them in Central Oregon.

Now maybe one of your local stations will cut a deal with Sinclair but I don't know if that is a possibility.

But, the Blazers did come up with a very fair option for everyone in the state of Oregon that has access to the internet. That is a HUGE improvement over what Blazer fans have had in previous years. You don't need Comcast, Dish, Root, whatever, you just need the internet and a few bucks a game.

Be patient. Blazers will be on in Central Oregon soon.
And you have the BlazerVision option.
