No. You'd have to change the input or source to antenna.

But it would still work. Just hookup the antenna and then change input to the antenna and it will work?

Im so confused by all this and I’ve been getting mixed answers on here and Reddit

Would this antenna work?

nevermind apparently I can’t post an Amazon link I guess

Well for spectrum users the blazers now show on their guide for tonight. However there was a problem with the last telecast. The first game picture on my TV shrunk in size not utilizing the TV’s full screen dimensions. Not the TV’s problem appears to be the broadcast signal from blazers or Spectrum could not covert to full screen. Hopefully this is fixed tonight wondering if anyone else had this problem.
Shrunken picture still an issue for tonight’s game. Talked with spectrum tek support and problem reported by multiple people. The problem is with the KATU signal being sent out. Spectrum has issued a trouble report to KATU to fix. At least the problem has been identified.

If your TV has a coax input, you can hook up an antenna to it. You'll have to scan channels (and change the source or input with your tv's regular remote).

Depending on your TV if you have an antenna you shouldn't need to buy anything. Should be able to get all the games this season except the TNT game.

That's if your TV has a tuner. If it doesn't have a tuner you might have to buy one.

Depending on where you live pretty much any antenna should work.

Gotcha. Thanks!

best info I’ve received yet

The “old timers thread” helps explain why so many here can’t figure out how to get Blazer games on their TV. :bgrin:
All signed up for BlazerVision. Looks like I have to watch it on the NBA app? I thought there was a separate BlazerVision app. Also says I can’t watch a game until THREE days after. Whoa!

I live in eastern Oregon. I mounted an antenna on the side of my house facing the translator around 25 years ago. I didn't know it was a "digital antenna", but it works great for watching 2.2.

The only downside? The translator asks me for money every year, because they see the antenna on my house (welcome to life in a small town). I haven't payed because I don't watch regular TV (regular youtube + brave browser to cut out most of the bs works great). Now, I may voluntarily pay the $100/year for the translator.

The good news on a roko device streaming spectrum the picture is fine. This size problem only on the tv hooked to the spectrum cable box.

As an old timer the good news I was involved in the computer industry. Older than dirt I am but I still remember my grandmothers hand crank telephone. The world has changed more than you young nippers can image.

For sure.

Firesticks and chromecasts?!?

Roku is the best. I don't buy anything other than roku tvs anymore.

I run into Rokus a lot when I travel.

I cannot connect my bluetooth headphones or speakers directly to them. That stinks.

Those are the "stick" versions. Perhaps the box form allows blue-tooth connections directly to the device.

Is this happening for everybody who has BlazerVision? Can only watch LIVE or 3 days later?

Blazer games are not on YouTubeTV.
An antenna and YouTubeTV are and would be separate input/viewing options on your TV. They don't work together.

from the website
All available games will be streamed on Fubo across the states of Oregon and Washington.
Only KATU 2.1 broadcasted games are available on YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV Stream within the general Portland area.

So far, they are not showing up on my Fubo account. I'm about ready to cancel.

my Fubo recorded the last game, so I guess it’s ready now

That's because yesterday's game was on KATU, the main ABC channel here locally. So it was available to pretty much everyone, no matter what streaming service you have.
Tonight's game will be the test to see if its on Fubo, since it's a KATU 2.2 / charge game only.

I don’t remember it being this confusing for the past TWENTY FIVE years. Maybe I’m wrong.

I had thought the official Blazer/watch website was really good and clear. However its apparently not 100% accurate as it says Fubo can watch every game.

Also with some of the channels changing Jan 1st this will remain confusing.

Hopefully this becomes simpler in the next few weeks/months and more clear exactly where fans can watch.

complete and total clusterfuck. Came in here to see if I could get clarity. Have antenna. Nope. Charge means shit. KATU “2.2” yeah whatever the fuck that is or where it is, it’s a big fun mystery. And doing it for the worst team in the league? Excellent decision Trailblazers.

Plug the antenna into your TV, go into settings and find scan for channels, click that. Your TV will find all over the air channels the antenna can pick up. Hit the #2 on your remote, if you are receiving KATU channel 2 then hit the up arrow on your remote, that will take you to channel 2.2.

If you have an antenna you can watch every game except the one game on TNT.

Have people with antennas not been able to watch games?

Yeah I did all that.

If they think more than 5% of fans over 50 are watching they are wrong. Just an absolute ridiculous strategy. And yes some of you are over 50 and congrats. But you’re also active in an online forum for Blazer fans. That isn’t typical. The typical 65-75 year old at home who likes the team isn’t figuring this out.

It should all be fixed in January, I think.

They just have to wait for the contracts to end so they can make the switch.

And then what? Charge! miraculously works? YoutubeTV? KATU “2.2” shows up? Do I need to stand on my roof with rabbit ears and move my tv up there because there are trees around my house, being in Oregon and all?
