Has anyone found extra content on Blazervision that is worthwhile, like pregame/postgame or such?

I have league pass and plan to setup a Tablo when I'm in Portland next week, just wondering if there is any additional benefit to Blazervision?

Great question. I'd like to know as well.

Yes. There is a bunch of content in there. Interviews. Classic games, etc. ill try to take a picture tonight of my tv screen showing some of the content for you guys to get a visual.

Just throwing it out there. Channel 302 is covered in my basic Xfinity package and it is HD now. The picture is good. I do not know if that will stay that way after Jan 1st 2025.

I watched every game for years by flipping on Root. Sure, that wasn’t better for everyone (I guess). But this isn’t not better than that.

So you have Dish or Direct it sounds like. Didn't you have like 10 years that you didn't get any games with Comcast Sportsnet NW? Now you have options of Blazervision, OTA, and it sounds like Jan1 there will be more direct tv/satellite/etc options. So you have multiple options to watch today you didn't have previously, and possibly even more in a few months.

There was a huge group of fans that didn't have access to Root that now have access. So seems you are advocating for a small group of fans in your exact specific use case while ignoring fans in other situations as well as overlooking the other options you have.

This is clearly a great move the Blazers have done for fan experience. Now I agree with some complaints that the rollout wasn't very smooth and yes its a little confusing with the channels changing again on Jan1st. So maybe the rollout only gets a C or B grade.... However overall long term this is a clear A or A+ move by the Blazers after decades of horrible local TV options.

Neither Dish nor DirectTV

YoutubeTV is super slick, lets you watch multiple sporting evens in side by side windows at the same time. Can have the world series and MNF and basketball all up on the screen at once then just move the cursor to the audio you want. Not sure what the restrictions are exactly as only certain events can share the screen but really cool when it does work.

I specifically said Root wasnt better for many others. I am not 'advocating' for anyone.

Where are the Blazers on YouTube TV?

Until January you have to add the leagupass module which costs an extra $10 per month. Or $9.99. Unless you want to pay the annual subscription.

At least that's what I did, and have been able to watch everything except (I think) one preseason game.

But I just found a pirate stream for that one.

Having an Android TV with TV Bro browser is incredible for playing pirate streams. Fantastic as a backup, just in case.

You can do that with Fubo also using AppleTV.

So do you mean with Fubo or AppleTV or both? I don't have any apple products. Android for devices and have Roku on all TVs.

I had done a trial of Fubo awhile ago, maybe last year, but don't remember noticing that.

I have had slingTV a long time but YouTubeTV interface and UI is much better.

COMCAST/NBC wasn't available on DirecTV for roughly 15 years.

Might just be less interest in the games though; Wemby had massive hype and Knicks are always a big draw. Neither of those this year and two 6ers stars were injured.

Overall the ratings are down on a local level for most NBA teams so far as well. But keep in mind this time of year NBA teams are going up against the NFL and college football which dominate the TV ratings for sports.
Blazers local ratings are up little bit.

Kind of crazy they had the world series through last night as well. One day I was watching world series, NBA games, and NFL all at the same time which I'd imagine the NBA is a distant third on.

The next tv broadcast deal will be even BIGGER than this one. Nothing to see here.

Anyone who gets the Blazer stream and uses one of the services like Fubo or YoutubeTV been able to record the game on their cloud services? and if you can are you able to watch it and fast forward during the game?

Yes you can fast forward at any point on YouTube TV.

You can watch it live. You can start watching from the beginning if you come in late. You don't have to set it to record as long as you have the Blazers added to your library it will automatically record.

There's even a important plays feature that you can click on and it will take you through all the important place so far and get you caught up to right now.

It's actually pretty slick. But it won't be really useful until January.

While watching BlazerVision on our PS5, the stream will randomly jump back 30 seconds several times per game and I sometimes have to restart the app. Anyone having that sort of issue with BlazerVision?

I have league pass on a roku and it does quirky things like that some of the time when trying to fast forward.

Hoping Amazon taking over league pass from TNT next year improves this.

thanks for the info. Just hoping to figure out if it’s an NBA app problem or a PS5 problem… or my internet (though everything else seems to work fine at my house)
