Someone please send our TV troll @GoZers very specific and easy directions on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before he starves to death.

its absolutely possible to watch the Blazers, if you have the right cable, get KUNP, or blazervision or league pass i think if you can, i dont know. or do the antenna and that works. if someone out there doesnt have this lined up, or have someone to help them (my mom), you think they are going to figure this out? Fuck no. Thats my only point for the "its so simple" crowd. ironically, with the Fubo trial now, I watch them and am bored off my ass. You get disconnected for so long and lose interest.
When has it ever been easier?

Tons of people didn't get Comcast sports net, root, or whatever the channels were. Many didn't have any option.

Decades ago Blazer vision was a cable only thing you had to call over the phone and order.

Anyone can buy blazervision today.

I have YouTube TV and can't watch Monday night football since Google and Disney have a contract dispute. So this isn't some Blazer issue only. NBA "national" games need multiple different apps as some are only on peacock, Amazon, espn, etc.

Try to watch a college football team, theyre games are on way more networks and harder to get than the Blazers. The world we live in now is streaming and it's just the new normal where you have to figure out what service is providing something and see if you get the channel or go subscribe to that.

Overall the blazers solution this year is better than it's ever been. I'd suggest you enjoy it while it lasts.

In a few years the Blazers may sign a new TV deal that GREATLY reduces the options people have to watch and requires a higher priced subscription (s).

I never said it isnt fucked up everywhere. Streaming has made a mess of things. I have also not said it isnt accessible. I am saying its not 'simple' or easy, as others seem to think. That is it. People who cant fathom that this is confusing to people. Or that not everyone wants to buy Blazervision. Or switch streaming services. Or the people who arent savvy to any of this who as of this moment have no clue where to find the team. I dont know who to blame, probably just everyone involved. Hard to believe there isnt a way to stick it on one channel/network, call it a day, and make sure everyone has access to it. But $$$$ says no.

We have 27 pages of messages about how to watch. As I said previously, much to the total dismay of HCP, if anyone thinks the average person (or a little old lady/man) is at home figuring this out they are either lying or an idiot. I am not sure why people dont understand this. The average person isnt figuring out TV types and what not to watch which app or which channel which may or may not be the same in their area. Univision or KUNP in one area showing the game and in another area showing Law & Order and so on. Throw in some antenna confusion, which may or may not work for shits and giggles.
It’s not 27 pages, it’s 8
Keep fighting the fight kid. You’ll win one of these days. Actually if you put as much work into just paying for it like everybody else as you do coming on here arguing with everybody…..You’d be able to enjoy these games. Let that marinate angry guy.

Thats deep. I will let it marinate. Might take a few days to really digest your words.

Or, you know... Just one subscription for like $15 per month... Or be like that lawn guy and get the superbox thing...

Shit my family couldn’t watch Blazers games for 17 years. Or however long we were on ROOT! We had DirecTV and we couldn’t get it. BUT I KNEW HOW WE COULD GET IT AND CHOSE NOT TO. So that was on me! Easier now to watch the games than ever and that’s a checkable fact.

Obviously so. you continue to come back and complain about the same thing day in and day out and you could EASILY fix the situation. Notice I didn’t say “problem”…..because it’s not. Try being a Nuggets fan. For like the past 6 seasons, if you live IN Denver, you actually couldn’t get their games. Finally hammered out a deal last season. Now THAT’S a “problem”.

Gosh, how are all these people figuring out how to watch the Blazer games considering its so difficult to figure out. 🤣

A solid opening stretch, an enticing brand of basketball and hope that the worst of a multiyear roster rebuild is finished have fueled a surge in television ratings for the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Blazers have enjoyed a 118% year-over-year spike in local viewership for games aired on KUNP, which represents the third-largest increase of any team in the NBA, according to league data given to The Oregonian/OregonLive.

Only the Denver Nuggets, with a dramatic 280% surge, and the Chicago Bulls, with a 174% increase, have seen a more significant boost in local television viewers.

What’s more, the Blazers also have seen an expansion in viewers on BlazerVision, the team’s direct-to-consumer streaming service. Impressions on the online platform have climbed 134% from this time last year.

Denver's #'s have gone up so much because they went from a situation like the Blazers on Root to an OTA option.

Denver could see the Nuggets games for like the past 5 seasons! Imagine that.

Well this doesn’t’ make sense bro. How is it easier to see now than ever.

Peacock picture quality is amazing. This is what i was expecting after purchasing blazervision but appears to be 720p still at least for road games still.

My samsung tv wouldn't load the NBA app and now it does. Woohoo!

This just keeps getting easier.

Looks like 2019 or newer models.

Am I late to the party on this?
My very old firestick quit working 10 minutes before the last game and I had to scramble to find a solution.

The local increases in Portland mirror the trend nationally, according to the NBA’s data.

You can't even get out of your own way.
Blazers locally are up 118%
Other local NBA broadcasts are averaging 13%/8% increase.
That's a "mirror"? If so I need a mirror like that! If I look into it, it will make me look like Chris Hemsworth. Or if HCP looked in the mirror and he looked like me. That'd be a major upgrade for him.

Posted this in response to someone in another thread, but also posting this here as an FYI since its fits this topic.
