I'm happy to see that Allan Houston is "truly" back. With Andrei Kirilenko out, I think the Knicks can win this one.

My Prediction:

Knicks: 89

That was a great game - went right down to the wire. Crawford sure has hit some huge shots for us this year, this game illustrated that perfectly. An outsanding offensive performance from him. Kurt was sensational with those 14 or so rebounds, and Sweetney was fantastic off the bench with 2 assists, 13 points, and 2 boards. Marbury's passing was solid. Tim Thomas had his usual horrible game with only 1 rebounds or so and 1 assist.

Still, a great game and a very good win.

This is the 3rd straight game that went down to the wire. Starbury must've been tired out there playing for 45 minutes. Allan Houston played decent also shooting 4-6. Knicks got outboarded though 43-27, we all want that to improve. Knicks will face the mavs on tuesday.

A win is a win, but they had a good lead earlier in the game. If only they had held on to it.

Has anyone got a clear idea when Penny Hardaway is coming back?


Happy to see the New York Knicks get this one, just need to build some consistency and we should get a good hold on the division.

I guess Jamal Crawford is really paying off.


Just another question, would we be better with Eric Dampier, or are we happy with the effort Nazr Mohammad has put in. Who would be a better Knick C?

Good question. Not sure when Penny is coming back. Here's another good question. Who's going to the injured list when Penny is healthy and what role will he have? Bruno Sundov maybe, although I would have liked to see what he was capable of. Perhaps Moochie but he's been playing well.

I dont think were going to lose first place in our division for the rest of the season. Although I didnt expect the Boston Celtics to play as well as they have but we'll be able to hold on to it.

As for Crawford...I'm sorry but doesnt anyone else worry about Crawford? He did almost nothing for the first half and it wasnt until almost the fourth quarter did he start producing. Then there's the fact that Wilkens doesnt take him off the floor when he's doing badly. If Crawford hadnt gotten hot at the end...we would have lost. We were lucky. I'm starting to think maybe Crawford should be the sixth man instead of sending TT to the bench or maybe do both and start Penny at small forward.

As for your last question...I dont believe I'm saying this but I'd rather have Nazr right now. He's among the leaders in offensive rebounds(granted half of the rebounds he gets are from his own missed tips but that's besides the point). He's working out really well for us. So why would we rather have someone else?

From what I hear it was very exciting. I also read in the paper that Jamal Crawford made a nice 4 point play.

Sometimes a worry a little bit about Jamal Crawford and then I remember that this guy is only 24 years old. He is also still adjusting to the losing ways of his Bulls days. The reason why I think Lenny keeps Crawford in the game is because you never know when he will get hot. Just like yesterday. Also I read Houston and Lenny agreed that it will be best if he played only 21 minutes because Matt Harpring was too big and strong for him. Houston's knees are still yet to experience tough low post offense. They said maybe 20 games he'll be able tohave played Harpring. I think Hardaway is a great edition for our bench as well as TT. TT is playing not too good basketball starting so I think it will not hurt us to switch up the lineup a bit and put him on the bench. I think Houston, Crawford, and Marbury is lethal. Penny and TT will just make our bench even better!
