Courage.

we are presently ignoring the fact that the company that the player's work for, the NFL and their union has come out 100% in backing their right to free speech in this venue and the methodology of showing their position.

One lone man grasped the moment.

Guy isn't a patriot. He's a terrorist and he needs to get out of my country.
Where muh country gone?

Ok. I expect that is for the best.

barfo
Coming from somebody that doesn't believe Hillary is corrupt. I think I will stick with my decision on not voting for these idiots

This man is protesting at a football game, in your world this makes him a son of a bitch.

Or wait...

You like this protest so it's okay.
I guess standing up for the anthem is a protest now. Or you dislike this player doing this so it's not okay? Confused

Like I said, some vets don't give a shit. A lot do. People are divided over standing or not for the fucking anthem. That's how crazy we have got. Nobody realizes

Sad thing is you think that's the real problem here.

I agree with you to a point. People want people to be divided, it's then easier for People to control people.
However Trump really crossed a line to me when he called people a son of a bitch.
Regardless how you feel about standing or kneeling for the anthem. I think most would agree that he went too far.
Have an opinion, be against kneeling or be for it. But it's completely wrong to frankly insult another human in the way Trump did.
Even my alt-right wing family members say Trump went too far. Even though they agree with him.

Trump is right. If you disrespect our armed forces as a public protest to something completely unrelated to the armed forces you are a son of a bitch. Nfl players and the like are at work which is not a place to protest. My grandpa fought in 3 wars for these cocksuckers to have the freedom to get paid millions to throw a ball. Show a little respect to our armed forces. If you want to protest do so by not becomming a statistic. How about go back to the communities you came from and teach kids that crime doesnt pay and teach them to respect authority. Maybe a few generations from now there wont be such a disconnect between law authority and community. Or better yet, move to north korea and stand for their national anthem because we dont want your communist ass here anyway.

Trump called for a boycott.

Let's see how that turns out. NFL loves to be boycotted, no?

What team is that SOB playing for?
No idea tbh. I still think he took a knee cause his career was over and he needed some publicity. The only bad thing i can say about how trump has handled this shit is why are you paying them any attention at all. They are getting the coverage they want to boost their dwindling ratings.

He was doing his thing in a campaign speech, riling up his audience. If he's not reading from the teleprompter, the media will jump on any thing they can to turn it into a constitutional crisis.

No one is disrespecting the armed forces. Read or listen to what they are actually saying.

3 million American citizens are without power or running water, will be for months, Trump silent.
Shooting in church, Trump silent.

Athletes protest, Trump won't shut up.

In the interest of Truth.

President Donald Trump is planning to visit Puerto Rico, which he says was "absolutely obliterated" by Hurricane Maria, and the administration and Congress are making plans to assemble an aid package for the island.

A White House official told CNN that the island may not be prepared for a presidential visit quite yet.
"He is committed to going, but date is still unclear," the official said. "As you note, there are significant infrastructure concerns."

The President spoke with Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rossello on Thursday, and there are growing concerns that the process of restoring power to the island could take months.

The presidential attention could offset concerns that the US territory, which has no voting representation in Congress, might not get the same attention or financial relief as some states, like Florida and Texas, that were also recently struck by hurricanes.
