Let the games begin...

Saturday: Raiders vs. Texans 4:35 pm
Lions vs. Seahawks 8:15 pm

Sunday: Dolphins vs. Steelers 1:05 pm
Giants vs. Packers 4:40 pm

Go Raiders, Steelers, and Giants. Honestly I like the Raiders and Steelers chances not so much the Giants. I posted this early so I can get your feedback on who you think will win each Game as I will be out most of the day tommorrow.

...Connor Cook first time starting a game will make him the first rookie QB to start a PS game who didn't start start a game during the regular season.

...I'm sure the Texans will try to pressure Cook so the Raiders' offensive line as well as their defense needs to show up Saturday or the Raiders' season is ovah.

...Raiders' 2017 schedule has been released...simply brutal...gotta be one of the toughest schedules in the NFL;

Home: New England Patriots, New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs.

Away: Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs.

^^^ great stuff you two-

Geezus, if Oakland can get thru next year, they should make a bee line right thru P.S. and the S.B.... hopefully in a year or 2, they will do just that; hope Cook can crucify defenses, and blow out the comp...!

got to run, brb in a few hrs. guess that's not being right back then is it-?BRBIACH?
will return to this- ^^^

I saw that in The Daily News this morning. Glad they are giving this kid a chance.

I too am more optimistic with the Raiders & Steelers.......
As for the Giants, not so much. I just do not see Eli taking
the Giants to a victory against The Pack led by Aaron Rodgers,
Clay Matthews & Eddie Lacy. Just hoping Giant D plays respectable.
He is not the Eli of five years ago.

Just a thought.............Giants played a whole season without a
productive TE & RB and a make shift OL......no wonder
Giants had tough time scoring TDs, forever relying on olde
Giant faithful FG and with a poor FG kicker at that!

Yes, the Giants' O scored just enough with much help from
a stout D. Cannot see this scenario occurring in Green Bay
this Sunday.

I agree with you Cage, hoping for the best but expect the worse. It supposed to be freezing in Green Bay this weekend so I think anything is possible. Aaron Rodgers has been on his Game in their 6 straight wins. If Eli can pull out some magic like the last 2 Super Bowls I will be very surprised. Just to give you an update: The stupid Knicks finally won a game after losing 6 straight.

Honestly I can't either not in Lambeau, tho' I will never forget Miami playing in Lambeau, soaking wet in 10 degree's of a snow covered field, who say's GB doesn't lose in GB? Bu then wtf was Jim Zorn doing in a Cheese Uni-???

Lacy is on Injured Reserve,
Cobb- Questionable at best
Starks- Concussion
Shields- "------------"

Matthews- Questionable, but will suit up, and shoot up with oxycaine?
Perry also, Oh HELL the entire LB corp is questionable... fk, G-Men win, I think,...

Unless Rodger's and Ha Ha Clinton Dix, can save the day single handedly...damn cheese heads, beginning to show mold...
http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/gnb/2016.htm

on the other league, "Screw the Heisman Curse"- hope the big back & Bama-alumn, along with Mariota, can both screw the Heisman curse???
Has Tennessee too many weapons they have or have not found the balance of talent/power.
Mariota is working on both #10 for INT's, and Fumble's, perhaps the curse is for real???

Wow. How many years is it that the Knicks (1) were in the playoffs????? (2) had a winning season?????

Underestimated the Texans D. They have thrown the gauntlet down on the Cook-led Raiders.
Sorry, Ron......... really thought the Silver & Black could take this game.
Can they make a game of this? Down 27-14.

...game not quite over but it may as well be, so I thought I'd post my thoughts.

...The Raiders lose their MVP candidate QB on Christmas eve, then lost their backup QB a week later...and ended up starting a rookie vs the #1 defense in the NFL...not a good combination.

...The Raiders had a league leading 7 players to the Pro Bowl but 3 of them got injured and could not start in today's game...hard to over come that

...The Silver and Black had the #1 seed and had a great season going until 2 weeks ago, and it all came crumbling down. For me, it was tough to witness but then again, I enjoyed watching them and enjoyed seeing the franchise finally return to relevance once again.

...moving forward, I'm not a big fan of Ken Norton Jr. as defensive coordinator and I haven't been since he was given the job.

Sorry Ron, I was really shocked watching this Game. I really thought they would pull it off.

^^^^^^
Here you go, Lillie......

The last season they won the NBA Finals was.............1972 vs LA Lakers 4-1. That's 44 years ago!
Amidst losing seasons in the 2000s, in 2012 they surprisingly had a winning record 54-28.
It's recent, but I do not remember it because it was surrounded by 13 losing seasons!

That's some funny Shit Cage! As the snow falls down here in NYC, I will give a toast to you, laugh my ass off and watch the rest of the Detroit/Seattle Game.

What a boring WCW so far. No competition whatsoever. Hopefully Sundays games will be better.

FYI They lost again tonight and I'm done watching them.

The Giant dream in playoffs has come to an end. When they had a first and goal on The Pack 3 yard line and come away
with their obligatory FG, you had to know they were in for a long, losing game. TDs win football games, not
field goals.
I think Eli's days as Giant #1 QB are numbered.

In truth I never expected the Giants to be a playoff team this year, so making the playoffs was an achievement.
The future will depend how Giant management get legitimate players to fill critical positions.

I know it was more then we all expected, but that was just an embarrassment.

...4 lopsided weekend NFL games.

...tonight's Bama/Clemson game should be a good one...2 very evenly matched teams.

...and oh, though I'm not crazy about some of the stuff he does, OBJ's poor game was not the reason the Giants lost yesterday...but it seems that's the media's focus.

...the Giants gave up 38 freekin points yesterday but the media only wants to talk about what they deem as "drops" by Odell, even though 2 or 3 of them would have been great catches if he had made them.

...you win as a team and you lose as a team...the talking heads need to get off Beckham's nutts.

these talking heads are trying to create a story, even when there isn't one. With Beckham, and the sensationalized media of today's fkd up infoless wars, journalism is more aligned with Natl. Enquirer style of lacking details, specifics, then makes whatever they can up, often creating several possible scenarios....

Sal Palontonio, sounded like Odell had a direct indirect beef with him personally, although truth be told, sounds like Sal was simply passing thru, observing, and tried to make the story about himself, since his eyes saw Odell ranting, pounding his head, or was it his fist, or foot, or shit, helmet....? fkn media has stooped to an all time illiterate low...!

^^^yeah, it's like "OMG, Odell punched a wall!"

^^^ exactly. Geez, I'd hate to be in his shoes, wouldn't be worth the $$$$....

bet they follow him like the bimbo bowling ball buttz kardashian sluts.... I can hear/see it now: Paparazzi on the prowl: "hey' OD's going into Papa John's".

Paparazzi pulls over parks, and runs into Papa John's, as a pack of them assembles like rats waiting for the lunch whistle to blow in a peanut butter factory; coming out of woodwork, walls, shadows unseen prior,

Tweets hit the air, Instagram real life in real time,

OD is the only customer, but it's standing room only in PJ's; the Mgr ask politely for them to leave, and all ignore his requests, and pleas, as cattle herds shove OD pinned to the counter. OD pushes several guys off of him, as he's being squeezed, as fast he's being filmed, and one can hear:

"did you see Odell hit him in the face",
"geezus, he had brass knuckles on",
"damn, he had a knife in the other hand, and a gun under his coat where no one could see it".
"Say WTF, if its under the coat where it can't be seen, then how did you see it??"

"Tell me have you ever heard of an 'unfamiliar' or 'unknown' exposure of film", "Yeah, sure dude, I know what you mean bro, I see 'em all the time",

"How the fk could you know what an 'unfamiliar' 'unknown' exposure' is; when its just that, unknown, unfamiliar, like the guy you voted for, you know everything, and are the best at everything too, only you know everything but anything or nothing, not even much of something....

OD is waiting for his pizza, and asks if he can use the employee shitter, cuz there isn't a public shit trough.....

constant flash of cameras, sound of shutters like machine guns

next morning headlines

Odell threatens to shit on floor in Papa Johns unless Mgr gives him pizzas for free, and insists on his own toilet, since employees have their own....

Odell seen with gun hidden in coat, brass knuckles, sawed off shotgun, and a .44 mag.

...^^^ Matts, I swear sometimes it seems like you're really Stephen King in disguise...you have a very vivid imagination...lol.

What the Hell are you two talking about??? :rotfl:

Yipes! ESPN media people cannot differentiate between what is true and what they want to be
true. Not one of these hype-individuals is interested in facts..........it is always about them and
the story. Fabrication permeates all of sports......and espn has mastered the hype and lies.
Their reporting is worse than all the trash talk that occurs in games. Shame!
