LaMarcus Aldridge has always been a hell of a player, yet never seemed to attain the same level of recognition as other power forwards (or even players) in the league. This past Wednesday, December 4, he showed exactly why he's a top three power forward in this league, if not the best right now.

You want a shooter? Forget Kyle Korver, Ray Allen, Stephen Curry or even Steve Novak. Take Wesley Matthews instead. Matthews has been absolutely on fire this season, leading the league in effective field goal percentage (67.8) and "true" shooting percentage (69.6).

Fresh off a Rookie of The Year Award, Lillard has been strong yet again. He's the facilitator of this offense, and has cut down on his turnovers while improving his defense. He's shown two other things: One, his maturity and composure at the point guard position goes a long way for this relatively young ballclub (thanks to four years in college), and, two, he might be the fourth-best point guard, behind Chris Paul, Tony Parker, and Russell Westbrook.

Batum is still a Swiss Army knife, and a guy who can do it all. This includes guarding the opposing team's best player (e.g., Kevin Durant, Paul George).

I believe so. Still, sometimes the content that comes out of the contributors is better than what comes out of the "real" reporters.
