Haha great, Of all threads to bump. This thread was about Jeter's ego and announcing retirement a year in advance so that he can get blown for an entire season by all the fans and media. Glad to see all the Yankee fans are already lining up for their turn.

Somebody should lock this or it will literally go on forever. Yankee fan love for Derek Jeter knows no rhyme or reason they will just keep posting and posting and posting and posting. Exhibit A: these two guys who have never posted here about the Rangers but show up to defend their savior.

Before you start sounding like a COMPLETE dick you need to know that the moron moderator on this board dumpster (who never poster on the Yankees board) came over to get what I believe was much needed attention by posting his shit. So..... he's getting the attention he so desperately craved. You other 12 year haters are just getting in the line of fire. Deal with it.

Look at it this way kid, A moderator from another board (who should know better) comes over to this board putting down the Rangers or one of there best or favorite players. Would that be okay with you? And btw: your response will tell me if I'm dealing with an adult or a child.
 
if you love the game of baseball, you loved what jeter brought to the game. just listen to what his colleagues have to say about him.

I'm not sure why you're calling me "kid" but I do know that I damn sure wouldn't go on another board for a team in another sport and bump a 2 month old thread just because some stranger on the internet insulted my favorite player. The "kid" is done with this thread, I should have known better than to get involved with Yankee fans when Jeter is at issue. Much love Dickie!

Maybe it's that the Yankees blow now and are a bunch of old farts going nowhere and nobody cares. Kids in schools could care less about baseball. It bores them and most don't play or follow it. It's only the old bastard generation like Fatcesa that keep acting like it's a big deal. Fact is that most dopes just put a game on in the summer, go outside and not watch 2 minutes of it. It's the only reason baseball gets any good ratings.

Kids no longer care about baseball. The Yanks are run by a bunch of idiots. Cashman is the dumbest GM in all of sports and his temple buddy Levine is a bigger idiot.

We have 16 teams in the little league this summer. That's the most we've had in about 6 years. Oh wait I forgot, according to you, kids don't care about baseball.

One of the WORST hitting shortstops of all time? Your stupidity & lack of knowledge for the game is obvious. He's a 312 CAREER hitter with over 3,400 hits moron. That would make him one of the BEST hitting shortstops of all time.
