Now Jaynes has jumped on the Zig Ziegler bandwagon!

I want to get in on this insult thing.

See that avatar of his? SlyPokerDog should really be known as SlyPokesDogs.

I'm still after PapaG, though, for FOUR MONTHS of looking at that signature everytime I read his posts.

But Mick or El Presidente don't bother me. You guys are cool with me.

Haha! That made me laugh. Finally some humor from you. Sentence served, and no probation.

I've been a lot less humorous the last 4 months, and have told you twice that I was ratcheting it up on you because of the signature. I've been too lazy to turn my signature into something similar to yours in revenge by using your contradictory quotes, e.g. your last season's opposition to Andre Miller and this season's to Felton. Eventually I would have done that and fought your way. But I'm a lover, not a fighter.

I thought the statement was great. The links are hilarious!

Between Jaynes, Canzano and Blazers Edge only Blazers Edge has mentioned Zigs legal problems.

I do a lot of damage control at work, and this is just fucking stupid. you want the story to go away, not attack it head on. so you ignore it.

I like how Larry Miller is putting Chad on the hook for this

But this is the Blazers. Bitchy hissy fits is how they respond.

And the thing is, it's not like the injuries started with Roy and Oden, who most people just chalk their injuries up to them being injury risks when they drafted.

Darius Miles and Zach Randolph also had microfracture surgery.

There's a fucking problem here.

No doubt in my mind Larry Miller either told Chad to do it or wrote the statement and used Chad's name

Larry Miller is very PR conscious. I think Chad Buchanan couldn't care less as he's just a puppet.

Didn't this guy Zig Zimmerman kill some black guy in Florida? Can't recall where I read it.

Non-contact knee injuries since the early 2000's:

Bonzi Wells: MF
Darius Miles: MF
Zach Randolph: MF
Greg Oden: MF
Greg Oden: MF
Greg Oden: MF
Greg Oden
Brandon Roy
Brandon Roy
Jeff Pendergraph
*LaMarcus Aldridge hip*

There is just no fucking way to defend this training staff.

Season ticket holders need to make their voices heard. This team needs an entirely new training staff.

Then you're not very good at your job, or you're dealing with problems that are in no way similar to this...

Simply ignoring a story like this, which has spawned multiple articles and interviews, as opposed to addressing it's stupidity, is horrible advice. If the source of negative news has any credibility (and it seems a significant percentage of Blazers fans and media alike believe ZZ is credible) and the Blazers choose to ignore it, then most people will just assume ZZ is right. Right or wrong, when you're dealing with public figures, this is how it goes. It will not magically go away, and this is common knowledge. That course of action nearly guarantees failure. You absolutely attack it head on and firmly deny it.

Seriously, what types of problems do you deal with, that simply ignoring them is the best decision? I find it fascinating that you'd even say this.

With all our injuries it's natural to want to find a reason, someone to blame. Nobody wants to admit it's simply bad luck. But take a breath. Would a professional basketball team, which invests tens of millions of dollars on even one player annually, really employ a training staff that is the consistent cause of so many major injuries??? Do you honestly believe that they didn't investigate this possibility years ago? Do you people honestly believe that they're that stupid and ignorant? Because if you do, I think that says something about your own intelligence. Our front office is far, far, far from infallible, but this line of thinking assumes they're clinically retarded or purposely sabotaging the franchise.

I'm sure the training staff just chooses to ignore other opinions for no reason, because I'm sure they don't care about maintaining the health of the players, or in other words, their career choice... A career, btw, in which they've risen to the top. I'm sure that's just all an accident... And yes, Canzano, you fuck-stick, I'm sure Jay Jensen was the Western Conference all-star trainer as recently as a couple months ago, because the rest of the league and medical community views the Blazer trainers as the source of all our problems.

But most of all, I'm sure this message board has all the answers.

Summary: Do not question authority. It doesn't make mistakes.

I think Paul Allen's spending makes him irreplaceable, and that his management practices are no worse than elsewhere. But I also think that we lose nothing by replacing the trainers, and may gain something. We can't lose. Why do they have lifetime jobs, while player and coach musical chair turnover is normally under 5 years?

Did anyone actually listen to his interview yesterday? He claimed that, while he only observed LA once, and disregarding that LA had a sprained ankle at the time - he was able to see something wrong with him that foreshadowed this minor hip injury. GTFO with that - go try and peddle your nonsense elsewhere.

i predict an injury to kevin durant, something on the lower half of his body. you can just tell
