My brother got a 2014 Evo MR and that thing is a monster! The acceleration is violent and on par with a GTR. Near $40k for this model.

Got the Mazda CX-9. Totally tricked out with every upgrade you can possibly get (before after-market upgrades), including the DVD entertainment system. The upgraded Bose speakers allow for a crisp loud sound with solid bass. Even came with wireless headphones for the TV. The wife drove us to the beach house and the kids and I played PS3 all the way there.

Road trips just got waaaayyy better.

I need a new computer. The new Mac Mini isn't out yet and I'm waiting for that. fuckers. I could just get an imac I guess or a macbook pro, but I really want the mac mini.....use my ipad for traveling.

had the flu for the last week. BLAH!

Dude, everybody and their grandma have had the flu the past week. I was a wreck Thurs/Fri. Went to bed at like 8:30-9 on Friday. Got a full 12 hours of sleep, but had a huge wine auction to go to on Saturday and had way too much to drink (so I probably hurt my immune system). Spent most of Sunday in the yard.

So yeah, that made shit waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy worse. Going to hack up a lung any day now.

I'm still bummed about not getting to party for Mardi Gras. And maybe St. Paddys as well.

Was in Riverside last week visiting family...

L.A. Fucking sucks.

LAX looks like a 1980's mall.

Laguna Beach is the tits. Love that town.

LAX blows. They're rapidly making improvements though, putting more local LA restaurants and modernizing it a bit. PDX is so much better.

LA itself is fucking awesome. Living here is great, there's so much to do, lots of chill people with a younger mindset, people here don't really grow up. I love going to another area of the city and seeing diversity.

Maybe if you're used to it. With the endless sprawl and horrid traffic, good luck getting anywhere in less than an hour. It's hard to get away from the grit as well.

I can see myself buying a place in Laguna in the future. Kinda Cannon Beach-esque. Especially the Mystic Hills neighborhood.

I actually like the grittiness of LA. I mean, to me, its more exciting to be in a city that's a little more edgy, a little more dangerous than some vanilla-ized beach town. Lots of cheap ethnic food, lots of cool events every day, and I never really get bored here.

Laguna is great and all, but when you live there, you'll likely be stuck in that whole Laguna Beach bubble. I live pretty central and work in a decent area, so the traffic, while it does suck, isn't too bad, I mean there's shitty ass traffic in Portland too.
