Never been to NYC. Kinda contemplating stopping in NYC at the end of my trip for 2-3 days. It'd be that weekend as well. I'd have no hesitation, but being out of the office for 16 days when our company meetings (i.e. everyone comes from out of to Portland) are only a week after I get home is going to be rough enough.
 
NYC is so fuckin sick. I've been to numerous places around the world, but theres just something special being in manhattan
 
I know. I'm trying to insinuate to my boss to let me use their NYC apartment right by central park. otherwise FUCK dropping $300 a night for a hotel.

Hawaii is cool, but I think with all things considered Vegas is a better vacation destination
 
Maui was cool, its a little boring. I stayed in Lahaina last year, which is the most happening part and it was still a little dull. Cool little area though. I'm not bout dat resort life.

You've been to Oahu right?
 
Leoda's Pie shop is pretty dope. Its a little stopoff point between the airport and Lahaina area if you pass it. One of the best sandwhiches I've ever had (Ahi Tuna). Good banana bread to take home as well. The hawaiian dude from Top Chef is involved in that and Star Noodle (also pretty good). He has a new restaurant called "Migrant".

I take cold showers when it's warm enough outside. You don't waste any time doing nothing in the shower cause you just wanna get it over with. Saves water that way.
