Nuggets at Blazers Game Thread 2/4/12

Boring easy game, short game thread, no board outrage. Denny barely breaks even on wins.

The Oden thread says that some fans booed Oden when his face was up on the screen. They got into the mood to boo because they were booing Rudy. Only about 3% of 20,000 people booed Rudy tonight. The 600 voices sounded like a low murmur.

Rudy and the rest of us saw that he was going nowhere as a Blazer, and expected him to be traded. Incomprehensively, Blazer management did so a year too late to get any value. I don't blame him for not understanding why they didn't trade him in Summer 2010. After that, he still played his heart out for us. He wasn't the one who overrated himself as a shooter, in fact, he kept saying that he's not a shooting specialist, as he was pegged in Nate's unchangeable system.

i wonder if any team winning only 25% of their road games has ever been #2 in hollinger. odd situation.

Holy shit I just finished watching my dvr! Wow impressive win!

Denver on their third "b3" ... it was a nice win, but I'm not sure how much I'd read into it. A lot of Denver shots were catching front-iron by around the middle of the third.

Can you imagine the meltdown in here if we hadn't beat a team on their 3rd "b3" game?

Wasn't the GState game our 3rd? Don't remember a lot of people bringing that up in that game thread.

are you implying it would be any different than this place after every loss (and a few of the wins)?

The thing that drove me crazy in that game was Nic getting so little burn in crunch time when he was playing well and had fresh legs. The loss was totally expected (mostly because it was in Oracle, but the third game in three nights was big too).
