and it's gone through translation to boot. There is no way that Neil said what he said at his news conference and that no one would be traded. He talked about improving the roster and Dame needing a second star during his press conference. Well to get a second star at least someone will have to be traded. He didnt say anything. This is like third hand info
nine years of ridiculous expectations more like it.
i can translate it perfectlyIf it was translated from Serbo-Croat maybe what he said was more along the lines that Olshey told him he wouldn't be traded. Maybe. Since mostly what we do is speculate.

So you're saying my conjecture is invalid.i can translate it perfectly

"invalid" in my first language means a person that has no arm or leg or finger etc, im not sure what the term is in english languageSo you're saying my conjecture is invalid.
Curse you

It can also have that meaning here."invalid" in my first language means a person that has no arm or leg or finger etc, im not sure what the term is in english language
pronunciation is a bit different, but the letters are the same

I'm offended not to mention outraged!I hope I didn't offend anyone with that joke.

I hope this is true; or that Olshey was just referring to Nurk and his best friend, Lillard. It's called "not tipping your hand." Olshey only has trading juice if other GMs think he's not desperate, and that only happens if players think they're safe.
At $10 million a year, Nurk's job is to play basketball. Neil's job is to maximize assets. Telling Nurk people are on the trading block hurts that.
nurk said it was told to "everyone" at the club that no-ones is leaving and that the head coach will be replacedI hope this is true; or that Olshey was just referring to Nurk and his best friend, Lillard.
Again this is a translation so I don't know how good it is but knowing Nurk and how he likes to take things on tangents the words "As far as I'm concerned," which preceded, "I was told that no one will be traded and that only the coach will change," were the most important.nurk said it was told to "everyone" at the club that no-ones is leaving and that the head coach will be replaced
According to others in here it's more than enough. This was from the nurk thread but thought it deserved its own discussion.
I want to dismiss it. But if you’re planning to make big trades, why would you tell everyone on the team they’re safe? Why not just say “we’re evaluating all ways to make the team better” and leave it at that?
Neil can’t be delusional enough to think swapping Billups for Stotts results in a championship, right? Or that swapping one role player for another is the key to unlocking it all?
He's right about that ...and Chauncey won a championship with role players starting...no superstars...he also said when Terry was let go that we didn't play our young guys enough to covet draft picks so I think we'll see Nas, Ant, Elleby and Giles at least get to compete for minutes..CJ Elleby is Norman Powell's workout partner and Ant is Dame's workout partner off season...Looks like McCollum is working out with Roco today...Elleby reminds me of a young Dylan BrooksNeil looked like he was trying to let fans down easy in the conference today. Made it sound like he wasn't going to trade for another star with his more stars don't mean championship speech. He said there are other ways. Gave Atl, MIL, and PHX this year as examples
