If we do, would you still play Nurk after a month?
from teams and nurks point of view, theres no point in bringing him back if they agreed to a new contract

if they didnt, then trail blazers proabably still wouldnt want to bring him back (he could increase his value with good play), but nurk would want to come back

first of all, i dont believe in this "injury", hes been playing through it since september and he couldve play through it until the end of the season and theres no way rich paul & nurk would agree to this if they didnt agreed to a new contract already

Our schedule at the end of the season is just way too easy. They may need to limit Ants minutes if they aren’t testing him altogether.

I see the tankabillies are out.
I think Nurks injury is legit and I doubt the team has entered the Tanklight Zone.

You can play on Plantar Fasciiitis. It just hurts badly. But, if we were in the midst of some type of push he would be playing.

Tank you Nurk and Cronin and the Blazers management !!!

I am not saying i think this is some made up BS to make tanking easier BUT if the Blazers were really in a WIN now run he would prolly just sit 2 to 3 games and then maybe take a minutes reduction but this signals the team knows it would be better off taking some L's

The last stretch was like a message to the fans not to get too down there is SOME hope but now time to get serious about the future and while some might not like it or whatever it's -- time to do what's best and that is LOSE

it’s not just about losing though it’s also about developing and evaluating players for next season. Good opportunity for Eubanks to earn a spot. Good opportunity for Watford to see heavy minutes. This also means Greg Brown won’t be sitting on the bench.

Also need to evaluate Hughes and Elleby as they’re not guaranteed for next season.

Keon needs minutes too. Brandon Williams might be the backup point.

Actually, I’d be surprised if Bledsoe played now.

Was a road runner for 35 years and PF can get to the point where its very difficult to run/walk on. There were several times I had flare ups that would require a lot of rest for it to subside.

I guess 4/60 if we are feeling really, really charitable.

That’s the same thought I had about this post.
You also thought that “no one would give up millions of dollars willingly” in reference to LeBron James wanting to play with his son.

Then I pointed out Ben Simmons, who has much less money, was doing the same thing by not playing for Philly.

So forgive me if I don’t give a fuck what you think.

Yeah, that’s not really what I said. I said he would care about losing 40 million, so he wouldn’t just retire.

But anyways you also think that Nurk doesn’t deserve more money per season than

Brook Lopez
Clint Capela
Myles Turner
Steven Adams
Kelly Olynyck

I’m ok with you not caring about my opinion. Yours isn’t worth much either.

This is ridiculous. Is there some saviour in the draft I’m unaware of? I cannot believe management is going to ask all these young players to keep playing hard as if the organization wants them to win games.

Savior in the draft? No. But the pick is an asset that can be utilized to improve the team. If we can procure said asset while developing our youngsters, we should do so.
