Vonleh is an irritating player. He looks like he has tremendous physical tools and skill but it has never translated onto the court. Dude shoots under .500 from 0-3, that is absolutely pathetic.

He's too short. That's my biggest issue with Noah. He's still trying to act like bigger PF, but he's easily blocked under the rim. He doesn't seem to be adding any moves or a more consistent jumper to open things up either. Maybe being paired with a legit C like Nurkic will help him? I'm not optimistic for him.

I have long held the belief that Plumlee was a really good backup center on a good/playoff team. Not a really good starting center. Too many crucial holes in his game (shooting, rim protecting). But don't get me wrong, I appreciated his hustle and athleticism. He was our 3rd best player.

Kudos to N.O. for landing a real center. He's young, and skilled and hopefully can stay healthy.

I like his attitude but it could be said in this video he was actually being nice after knocking the guy down, not letting the ball fall on his face after scoring on him. Either way, it's funny.

He's 6'10''. That's a classic size for a power forward. He's been rebounding well, so he has the size and physicality to compete. He struggles near the hoop because he's passive and doesn't have a refined inside game. No idea whether he'll develop the necessary skills or aggression (I imagine those two things are tied together to an extent). Even if he never learns to be a crafty inside player, he can be valuable if he adds some consistency to his shot, continues rebounding and improves his defense.

He doesn't move well enough laterally to play PF full time. He'll get killed on the perimeter against most teams. I do think he can play PF against certain teams however, even though he can't shoot. His passing spaces the court. You can't just leave him open.

Plumlee's ability to hedge on guards and get back to the rim is pretty elite. I think he would do okay against most stretch 4's, but maybe not the Aminu-masquerading-as-a-PF types.
