Yes, they both have to pass their physicals and the league office has to formally approve the trade. The timing is tight, but it could happen.

That's a tough one. Maybe a warning is enough to keep things from escalating, but nothing nips it in the bud quicker than a tech. The guy flopped and the ref presumably swallowed his whistle, so it was already a clean slate before Nurk did whatever that was.

I seem to remember that it was like a week later when we did a PC last time we traded for a player too and it might be because there is another move coming.
