Just watched the UCLA game. I really like Shabazz. May not have the best outside shot right now, but he has a lot of intangibles. Our pick (Yeah if we get it) plus Batum to move up to get him? Maybe I just have march madness, but I would do it. I can't see him being a bust.

Dude is intense. We need that

I haven't really watched him play.. Anyone else say they'd do our pick and Batum for him?

On the other side of the floor, Erick Green has absolutely no conscience as a shooter. If we want a fearless backup SG, he'd be worth a look as well.

Green is my choice for a guard & Mike Muscala (Bucknell) is my choice for a big for the second round.

He kind of reminds me of a smaller version of Lebron in the way he finds a lot of different ways to score. Very strong for his size. SF all the way. He just looks like a winner to me. Better potential than Kidd-Gilchrist IMO. Wasn't sold on him earlier in the season. But I am now.

And no I am not saying he will be as good as Lebron.

Rather have Porter than Shabazz. And Oladipo.

Not that it matters; none of them will be available to us.

kind of un-possible for CHA to get #12. If Oladipo somehow makes it to #10, there should be a war going on to get him.

And a NOH front line of Anthony Davis and Nerlens Noel would be, uh, formidable defensively.

Yeah, Charlotte can't get 12, and I believe if the Lakers are in the playoffs, then Cleveland gets the rights to swap to their pick, so they'd have 16, PHX would have Miami's pick.

Did fez leave the forum? Maybe I was a little hard on him? Doesn't he know I love everyone in this forum except for sly?

im def gonna be excited about keeping #12, gonna be a good prospect there

this thread needs to heat up as our chance of keeping the pick (12) is looking better and better

I haven't checked lately. Where are we at? If the season ended today would we get our pick?

Actually we are one full game behind Dallas. So currently we are soley 12th. And the Mavs are leading the season head-to-head matchup 2-1, with one game to go in April between these two teams, which may or may not end up being crucial as a tiebreaker when it's all said and done.

Zeller and Oladipo's stocks are really trending in completely opposite directions right now, and this Sweet 16 game is a great example of why. Zeller's getting outhustled, out rebounded, and can't compete against the more athletic Syracuse defenders. Oladipo, on the other hand, needs to be considered in the conversation for that #1 pick.

Seems like Crean doesn't emphasize getting Zeller the ball a whole lot. That said, I can't remember how long its been since I saw Zeller do anything but face-up-lower-shoulder-and-dive-left-or-right.

Cuse looking damn athletic, and Micharl Carter Williams playing better than I've ever seen him play.

I'm telling you. The college game is awful on big man. That said, I feel like Zeller has regressed.

I don't think I'm as high on Oladipo as most, I think he'll disappoint.

What I like about him is that I actually think he's one of the most sure things in this draft. The ceiling for players like Noel is very high, but Oladipo has skills that you don't have to guess if they'll translate to the next level. In the worst case scenario, he'll be a solid role player.

Oladipo is the best perimeter defender I've seen in college in a while.

That's the tricky part of the draft. You know he'll be a good role player, but a top 10 pick, you don't want that. I know the argument was made agains MM in regards to Meyers Leonard, and what you expect out of a lottery pick, but IMO, you can assume you get....say, Wes Matthews out of Oladipo. So you're protected form busting on the pick, but you just picked an undrafted player in the top 10.

I've gotten higher on him as the season wore on, but still not a huge fan. Maybe he can be a nice role player but #1 overall pick consideration? Hells fuckin no. The only reason hes sniffing the top 10 is because this draft is complete dog shit.

That Syracuse zone is a bitch.

I'm just surprised Crean didn't prepare Indiana better. They're playing panicked now, but the team that came out in the second half was more like the Indiana team we've seen all year long. In the first half, they were just like a deer in the headlights. That's on Crean.
