I mentioned a few weeks ago that the Mocks usually change after the combine.
Seems like this year will certainly be no exception.

I was given shit for wanting him with our pick over a month ago.

There's now doubt that he has issues, but he has the raw skill set we need in a center. Use Meyers in a package to get a center or wing that can play.

Olynyk's wingspan is short as hell
 
Surprised he still had at a 9' reach. His body fat was lower than I expected too.
 
Prediction: Gobert and Adams will be drafted over Plumlee and Dieng. The latter 2 will still be in the NBA in 5 years (albeit as journeymen) - the first 2 will not.
 
Steven Adams would be amazing if he could play basketball.

Let's hope he wants it more than Olowokandi.

Amazing if he could play offense. His defense is already pretty good.

His offense looked like it has been getting better from what I saw from the combine though. His interviews have gotten a lot better too. His two interviews on draftexpress which were about a year apart are crazy to watch back to back. It's like he had no idea how to talk about basketball.

Does anyone have a list of verts and bench reps?

SBNation is reporting that Oladipo has a 42 inch vert, but I can't find a complete list anywhere.

Also, Chad Ford tweeted out this -

Cody Zeller's standing vert of 35.5" was highest ever recorded for player 6-9 or taller in last decade. #NBADraftCombine

Yeah I think Zeller surprised a lot of people. Seems like the athletic ability they thought he would show before the season is back. But where did it go? Either way I think he solidified a top 9 pick.

Maybe the extra weight? His explosion wasn't there this past season and it showed.

I think he'll primarily will have to be a PF with his 8'10" reach.

Why? His brother had a worse standing reach and he played center last year. Wasn't that bad, Cody is much more talented too.

He really struggled with length this year. He wasn't the mean/explosive Cody that we saw during his FR year. He regressed from that season. Maybe the added weight hindered his leaping? The difference was noticeable. He couldn't get his shot off against the length of Syracuse.

His age is really just relative. He only started playing basketball six years ago, and he's really come a long way in his development every year at UL. I can speak to that being a fan of Michigan State, who he helped knock out of the tournament in '12 by knocking down perimeter jumpers out of nowhere. I thought that was just a really unfortunate fluke, but fast-forward to this season, and he actually developed a semblance of a mid-range game, sort of in the way Ibaka has managed to do in the pro's.
 
Also, don't know if anyone else watched the DX interviews from the combine, but Isaiah Canaan said that the two guys who've helped him out and who he's been in touch with all year were Chris Paul and Damian Lillard.

As far as Rudy Gobert goes, the size is impressive, but that's what led to the worst draft decision in my team's history, Hasheem Thabeet. We even had the advantage of seeing him get dominated by more physical players in the NCAA, yet we still got enamored with his size.

With that said, I'll reserve judgement on European players that I haven't seen. I honestly believe that if any of ya'll say that you've seen him play from more than a YouTube clip, you're just bullshitting... similarly with prospects like Tony Mitchell. I've probably watched more college ball than anyone on these boards this year (well, maybe not Zags), and the more I've started to get into the Euroleague, I've also started to DVR their games when they come on NBA TV. None the less, I still haven't gotten a chance to see guys like Gobert or Mitchell actually play. I'm sure we're all in the same boat, that all we can go off of is the scouting reports for those guys.

The Blazers should throw a 2nd round pick at Seth Curry

Members of the Curry family are guaranteed to shoot 40%+ from 3. Draft him and watch him make it rain.
 
Boston has interviewed most of the projected top-5 picks.

They have NO combo of assets to get that high. Ainge annoys me.

Yes, but you can only spend a total of $3.1M a year doing so (3.2M next year). AFAIK, they didn't use that for the 2012-13 season (I think the Knicks sent cash our way in the Felton/Thomas trade).

So PA could spend 2.1M getting a 1st and 1.0M getting a 2nd. Or some other combo. But he can't sell one for 3M, and buy 2 @ 3M apiece for a 3M net payout.

Thanks Brian! Creates some interesting options with the potential to draft a big man later. Based on current mocks, Dieng, Adams and Gobert may be available.
