The east is very, very bad. Look at Atlanta's performance against the Spurs tonight. That's the 3rd seed in the East...

wasn't Damon Stoudamires game of 54 (I think?) the highest scoring total for an NBA player without an assist?

And wow, Boston couldn't beat the Thunder if they had the Thunders water boys play.

Move over Mighty Mouse, there is a new ballhog in town! Funny thing is that 'Melo also had a 50 point game with zero assists before.

It was an impressive scoring display tonight. I'm bummed he ended up getting one offensive rebound, though. I wanted the 62/13 (all DEF)/0/0/0/0 turnover game.

To be fair, they were up huge. Becomes more a gimmick at that point to try to score a ton. Why bother passing to anyone else on that squad.

16-27 team. Plus, he was in chucking up shots while his team was up 30+ points with 8 minutes left in the game. As I said, tonight's stat line for Anthony couldn't be better in terms of what I think about his game. A great scorer. A bad teammate. A selfish player.

You know it's a bad call when the team that is DOWN 1 with less than 10 seconds gets the offensive foul on the team UP 1... and the team down 1... their announcers even say it's a bad call.

I thought it was awesome! It validated everything I've ever thought about Carmelo Anthony. He's an incredible scoring machine. How is that hating on him?

Atlanta with the complete no-show was the most perplexing result tonight, IMO. Although OKC beating Boston easily w/out their two All-Stars wasn't exactly fun to watch.

Annnnd. Rewatching Melo's exploits on LPBB and he passed out nearly every time he was doubled (which oddly CHA didn't do much). And besides, when a guy is that hot and they're covering him with Gerald Henderson or Anthony Tolliver on an island in single coverage, I would get pissed if he DIDNT shoot.

He keeps getting his shit swatted by Bogut. The only reason Minnesota is in the game is because of BS calls against GS that are sending Love to the line.
