So Gary Payton wasn't a real basketball player? I mean, I know you mean now, but maybe he watched them back then too?
Maybe, Meyers comparisons are just extremely unintelligent and solely based off the likeness of their skin. It pisses me off.

Lol ok, i ask a serious question, and you take a shot...nice. I watched a lot of zags tourney games
Then why are you comparing them for reasons other than their skin?

Collins was one of the best defenders in the country last year. Meyers is awful. Collins knows exactly where to be and has great timing on blocking shots. Meyers is that opposite of that.

If we can grab OG or Giles at 26 I'll be thrilled. Then trade Vonleh for a second and grab someone else.

Calipari, love him or hate him, has a nice model.

"Hey, Recruit, come play for me and 18 months from now I'll be on ESPN telling the world how awesome you are while getting drafted in the lotto"

Coach K wants to stop that sales job even if it costs him some prospects. He's getting his ass kicked by Calipari. So he wants to get rid of the 1 and Done. That is Calipari's meal ticket, baby. Coach K knows he wouldn't lose as many raw prospects as Kentucky because Duke will always be desirable to kids as an educational fall back option.

Long athletic white guy with a slow release that is raw and needs to develop. I'm just going off of draft express.

CJ and Dame don't play his position. Collins does.

True, but Dame is the leader, he is the one who tries to get the best out of the teammates, sometimes it just doesn't happen because they aren't good. Sometimes playing the same position doesn't always matter.

Loved that "Hood Adjacent" commercial. That looks funny.

MEYERS 2.0 ABORT ABORT ABORT

Unlike Meyers, Collins appears to not shy away from contact, on either end. Has better post moves and the fact he fouls so much shows how physical he’ll get on defense. I think his lateral movement is better than Meyers. I think the release on his shot is quicker than Meyers. And I think it'd be hard to not have a higher basketball IQ than Leonard as well.

6 picks to go, but Collins is gone. Harry and OG still on the table. C'mon, guys, start taking some furriners.

More importantly...Collins keeps his eyes open when playing under the hoop...Meyers closes his

I'm just waiting for @MediocreMan to find out that we're picking Tyler Lydon from Syracuse. White forward stuck between the 3 and 4 who needs to add strength and is weak defensively. ;)

His shot looks slow but it isn't. He brings the ball up slow but it doesn't have to travel far to get to his set point, as he brings it up close to his body. His set point is high than Meyers' so it's easier to get off.

Why is white guy in your analysis though? That's bullshit. Every big man is "long"....

So basically his slow appearing release, the fact that he's "athletic", and the fact that he's 19 (and needs to develop) means he's like Leonard?

Collins' athleticism transfers to basketball. Meyers doesn't. Collins is ready to play right way, Leonard wasn't.

Damn. If only we could've traded 15 and 26... :(

Go and look at draft night when we drafted meyers. But hey, let's see, maybe he turns out to be a quality NBA starter
